EAU Technologies manufactures Empowered Water® generators that employ electrolysis to produce high volumes of electrolyzed oxidative and reductive water. The generators use a unique combination of cell technology, electrolytes and electricity to create a gentle and effective oxidized antimicrobial solution capable of killing many pathogens in less than a minute, often in seconds. On the other side an extremely effective alkaline solution is created that can replace toxic caustic used in just about any arena. The stabilized electrolyzed water is effective, inexpensive to produce, safer than traditional interventions, and can be used in multiple applications due to its various inherent antimicrobial characteristics.

Empowered B-Water is an extremely effective saponifier and cleaning fluid with some anti-microbial properties. EAU’s Empowered Water® generators are able to create large amounts of Empowered B-Water which is known for its highly effective carpet cleaning capabilities while leaving behind no residue. Empowered B-Water is used as a replacement for phosphate-based surfactants and cleaners. The solution is as effective as the toxic chemical cleaners commonly used in the industry, yet it leaves no film residue associated with chemical detergents. The active ingredient in Empowered B-Water is Sodium Hydroxide, which is Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) by the FDA. EAU has the ability to create various levels of efficacy depending on the customers needs.

EAU’s Empowered C-Water is a stabilized acidic water used in consumer products or other applications as a high level disinfectant where a long shelf life and lower oxidation strength is required.

Empowered Water kills pathogens very quickly thus emulating a “physical kill”. Traditional toxic chemicals take longer to kill, theoretically allowing pathogens to create resistance to the chemical. Because of Empowered Water’s high oxidative reduction potential (ORP), this water damages the pathogen’s cell wall membrane. The microbe is compromised, resulting in an osmotic or hydration overload. The damaged membrane allows water to flood the cell faster than the cell can expel it, literally causing the cell to burst. Because this reaction happens so quickly, there is very little left of what caused the kill to happen. You are left with plain water and with dead organics, there is no need to treat this “grey water” for chemicals.
