CloudCooler Range - Data Equipment Cooling

Data centre operators are under increasing pressure to reduce energy usage and in some cases, release power in their facilities. EcoCooling’s evaporative cooling and ventilation solutions can reduce cooling costs by up to 90% when compared to traditional refrigeration. The CloudCooler Range builds on EcoCooling’s 15 years experience to achieve unparalleled free cooling efficiency while maintaining Class 1 ASHRAE compliant environmental conditions. The modular units combine ventilation, evaporative cooling and humidification to provide operators with simple cooling solutions that are easy to install, maintain and operate.  The units are avaliable in a Nordic grade, which allows them to be used in the very cold conditions found in the Nordics and The Arctic Circle.

ECPCRECST - Evaporative Cooler for Data Centre Cooling

This is a derivative of the standard CREC DT cooler specifically designed for the cooling of data centres. The air is discharged through the side of the cooler and the attemperation is provided by a patented single damper on the top of the cooler. The CRST has a nominal output of 9,000m3/hr@130Pa external pressure. This is a lower output than the CRDT as it only has 3 sides available for cooling.

Mobile Evaporative Cooler

This cooler is a robust stainless steel mobile cooler built to withstand frequent use and movement. It can be used anywhere there is good ventilation. It is particularly effective for spot cooling of personnel in large factories or warehouses and for smaller workshop areas. It is also ideal for reception areas, large offices and large retail premises. The ECM has a nominally rated air flow of 7000m3/hr and can cover an area of approximately 100sqm. It has a sump capacity of 90L and can be filled manually or attached to the mains water supply. Mounted on four braked castors for ease of transport and designed to fit through a normal sized door the cooler is designed to be operated on a flat surface in a well-ventilated area.

EcoCooling - Evaporative Cooling Control Systems

The are a number of different EcoCooling control systems available when choosing the right evaporative cooling system. Small EcoCoolers (coolers with fans) come with a 5-speed wall controller as standard, the larger one with a 2-speed.  For more complicated systems which require EC fan, dampers or recirculation control, a CREC system should be accounted for.  The CREC system was originally designed for use in data centres, however, due to the low cost of components, has now become a viable option for industrial installations which require additional functionality (e.g. gyms/leisure/pharmaceutical warehouses).

EcoCooler - External Evaporative Cooler

With a maximum flow rate of 14,000m3/hr EcoCoolers contain an inbuilt fan and evaporative cooling pads. This evaporative cooler is designed to be externally mounted and should be used as part of a mechanical ventilation system with a paired extract fan. The standard configuration is down flow, where air is supplied from the base of the cooler into the area that requires cooling.

EcoCooler - Evaporative Cooling Pads

EcoCoolers contain an inbuilt fan and evaporative cooling pads. The evaporative coolers are designed to be externally mounted and should be used as part of a mechanical ventilation system with a paired extract fan. The standard configuration is down flow, where air is supplied from the base of the cooler into the area that requires cooling.

EcoCooling - Internal Evaporative Cooler

The ECT Internal range of coolers combine a ventilation system, evaporative cooling, recirculation, filtration and CREC® controls into a single box solution, this design significantly reduces installation costs. ECT units are not suitable for external use and are predominantly used in IT cooling installations.

Internal Evaporative Cooler

The ECT Internal range of evaporative coolers combine a ventilation system, evaporative cooling, recirculation, filtration and CREC® controls into a single box solution, this design significantly reduces installation costs. ECT units are not suitable for external use and are predominantly used in Data Centre and IT cooling installations.

EcoCooling - Internal Free Coolers

EcoCooling’s Internal range of FreeCoolers combine a ventilation and recirculation system, filtration and CREC® controls into a single box solution; this design significantly reduces installation costs. The units are not suitable for external use and these smaller options are predominantly used in small server room installations or office environments, usually with a backup refrigeration system.
