The MS2 system is the international standard for the measurement of magnetic susceptibility in environmental sciences. The MS2 meter is a portable instrument with sensors for field and laboratory use. The system is used in geomorphology, geophysics, archaeology and mineral exploration.

The MS3 is a compact, lightweight meter, offering increased performance over its predecessor, the MS2 Meter. It can measure magnetic susceptibility up to 26 SI (compared to 0.1 SI for the MS2), and the measurement period is selectable down to 0.1s minimum. The MS3 Meter provides significant advantages over the MS2 in terms of portability, configurability and connectivity to a PDA device for GPS-logged field work. Resolution up to 2x10-6 SI (volume specific). Field data logging available. USB connectivity.

The BSS-02B is a borehole probe for measurement of magnetic susceptibility from 10-5 to 10-1 cgs. It is calibrated for 50mm diameter boreholes up to +90°C, and is able to operate at depths of up to 6000 metres over a temperature range of ambient to +120°C. The sonde can resolve strata as thin as 25mm, and will display a double response for layers thinner than 20mm. The operating frequency is 1.36 kHz.

MS2C sensor is used for volume susceptibility measurements of sediment cores. Calibration accuracy to 5%. Measurement period (MS2 meter only) 1.1s SI (0.9s CGS) or 11s SI (9s CGS). Operating frequency 0.565kHz. Spatial resolution 20mm. Sensor diameters from 30–162mm.

The Mag670 is a compact general purpose sensor. Frequency response from DC to >1kHz. Measuring ranges ±100µT, ±500µT or ±1000µT. Alignment error to datum <2°. Also available unpackaged.

The Mag592 is a low RF emission sensor for MRI applications. Frequency response from DC to 2kHz. Measuring ranges from ±70µT to ±1000µT.

The Mag-03 offers a range of high performance sensors with cylindrical, square and submersible enclosures. Options with 70 to 1000T full scale ranges. Frequency response from DC to 3kHz. Standard version <10pTrms/ vHz at 1Hz. Low noise version <6pTrms/ vHz at 1Hz. Basic version 1020pTrms/vHz at 1Hz.

The Mag639 is a wide bandwidth sensor with applications in geophysical exploration (TDEM), defence and industry (EMC testing and active compensation). Frequency response from DC to 12kHz, for field strengths up to ±100µT.

The Mag690 is a low cost sensor for general purpose measurements of static and alternating fields. Measuring ranges from ±100µT to ±1000µT. Frequency response from DC to 1kHz. Unpackaged version available.
