Green Remediation

EcoVac Services’ solutions are environmentally responsible. These `green` practices ensure a nominal consumption of natural resources and also minimizes emission of harmful greenhouse gases. EcoVac Services leads the industry in green and sustainable remediation practices. We were developing a comparative model that calculates and contrasts the carbon footprint and energy consumption from several common remediation technologies in advance of the 2009 Copenhagen accord and the December 2007 EPA declaration regarding greenhouse gases as a health hazard. This model was the first comprehensive model created within the industry and validates that EcoVac Services’ solutions will reduce your carbon footprint and energy consumption by over 75%!.

Biosolvent NAPL Remediation

COSOLV Biosolvent NAPL remediation is EcoVac Services’ patented process combining dual phase extraction multi phase extraction with cosolvent biosolvent surfactant flushing .  This biosolvent NAPL remediation technology targets sites impacted with either light or dense non-aqueous phase liquids (i.e. LNAPL remediation or DNAPL remediation), possessing extremely high viscosity.  The technology is ideal for the effective recovery of free phase viscous LNAPL remediation or DNAPL remediation such as MGP coal tar, creosote, crude oil, and No. 6 (bunker) fuel oil.

In Situ Chemical Oxidation

ISCO-EFR is EcoVac’s proprietary technology combining multi phase / dual phase extraction (MPE/DPE) with in situ chemical oxidation (ISCO).  This unique approach has decreased contaminant levels relative to corrective action levels by 80 to 100% in nearly all applications.  This process targets sites with dissolved groundwater contamination from chlorinated or non-chlorinated organic compounds for effective environmental groundwater remediation.

Mobile Dual Phase Extraction EFR Enhanced Fluid Recovery

EcoVac Services’ Enhanced Fluid Recovery (EFR), a mobile version of  dual phase / multi phase extraction, was invented and developed by co-founder David M. Goodrich, PG. In 1988, Mr. Goodrich was responsible for remediating Underground Storage Tank sites for Texaco and Atlantic Richfield Petroleum Companies in California and Nevada. Recognizing a need for a mobile, inexpensive remediation technology, he invented EFR for environmental groundwater remediation.

Surfactant Enhanced Aquifer Remediation

SURFAC is EcoVac Services’ patented process combining the elements of dual/multi phase extraction (DPE/MPE) with surfactant injection.  Nick Athens, co-owner of EcoVac Services, building upon the Enhanced Fluid Recovery (EFR) technology invented and developed by co-owner David M. Goodrich, developed a patent relating surfactant enhanced aquifer remediation with DPE/MPE. This patent was awarded in December 2000.
