What is the weighing scale? This product was originally designed for the Swiss market where each municipality is obliged to apply a proportional tax for household waste. This participatory system can take the form of a volume tax, with the sale of taxed bags or drum lids, or a weight tax; weighing the waste is the most efficient solution in financial, ecological and ethical terms. The household waste scales can be integrated into a wide range of semi-/underground containers and compactors. Accuracy and reliability of weighing are of paramount importance in the context of the weight-based fee. That is why our scales are certified by the Federal Office of Metrology to European standards and can measure to an accuracy of +/- 50g.

What is level measurement? Our level measurement works with an ultrasonic probe that measures the filling level of your containers and communicates via 4G/2G with the WISE management platform. It can be installed on a wide range of underground and semi-underground containers, whether they are already installed or when a new order is placed.

What is the waste management system? Ecowaste offers several solutions for waste management. In the case of a waste disposal site, electronic units can be installed: Access control: Gates and barriers regulating access to the site, thanks to an electronic locking of the barrier with a card reader that is adaptable to cars, trucks and pedestrians. Scale by weight/volume/unit: Floor scales for weighing waste (Ecowaste electronics are approved at European level for this purpose).
