Kit “B” includes devices and tools to contain leaks in and around the ton container valves and in the side wall of ton containers, US DOT# 106A500X. All items are labeled with a part number, color coded yellow and are stored inside a durable polyethylene tool box.

Kit “C” includes devices and tools to contain leaks in and around the pressure relief device and angle valves of tank cars,DOT 105J500W, cargo tanks, MC331, & portable tanks, DOT 51. All items are labeled with a part number, color coded green and are stored inside a durable polyethylene kit box.  Note: The Chlorine Institute Emergency Kit “C” is the only chlorine emergency kit for chlorine tank cars/trucks that is manufactured to Chlorine Institute specifications.

The training cylinder is an actual full size 150 lb. empty DOT 3AA480 chlorine cylinder.  This training device is designed to simulate leaks at the valve and in the sidewall of the cylinder.

The training dome is designed to simulate chlorine leaks in a rail car dome when applying the Chlorine Emergency Kit “C”.  The valve manifold allows the instructor to simulate a chlorine leak, with water or compressed air, in the pressure relief device and two of the angle valves.

Part # SPF FOOTBALL PLUG is a football-shaped, polyurethane impregnated, water activated foam plug used to temporarily stop the flow from a leak in anything from a pipe to a tanker, to a railcar-even a boat! It is initially pliable to insert into a void and quickly expands and hardens to fill the void-it can even be applied below the water line.
