EPI - Inline Thermal Mass Flow Switch

Part of the SWITCH product family that are different than thermal mass flow meters, the Series 7000 is a thermal mass flow switch that detects the presence of the flow, at a predetermined set point, sends alerts, and performs designated actions. Designed with inline installation type, these thermal mass flow switches are available in sizes from 1/4″ pipe through 4″ pipe and are provided with threaded male NPT ends as the standard mounting style. While the Series 7000 is designed with an explosion-proof enclosure for Hazardous locations, the model has still not been submitted for agency approval testing. To provide you with accurate measurements and detection, the Series 7000 uses our proprietary temperature compensation techniques with a sensor assembly that utilizes two RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensing elements.

Approved for Hazardous Locations, the Series 8000-8100MP Inline Remote Thermal Mass Flow meters are a brilliant choice for all environments. The 8800XT 200C Flow Meters are high-temperature insertion thermal flow meters for use in heated applications with a maximum of 200°C (392°F) gas temperature. They are designed with the same sensors of our Master-Touch™ Series that are rugged, cleanable, and made with two RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensing elements to deliver highly accurate and repeatable measurements. Rest assured knowing that this high-temperature gas thermal mass flow meter is equipped with thermal mass flow sensors that are made of reference-grade platinum, ceramic, glass, and stainless steel, and also abrasion and corrosion resistant due to the stainless-steel sheath.

Insertion Thermal Mass Flow Meter

Part of our Master-Touch™ Series, the 8800XT 525CR series are high-temperature insertion thermal mass flow meters that provide tremendously accurate and highly repeatable measurement and control in hazardous locations. This design utilizes Remote Electronics allowing the heat capacity (up to 525°C/977°F) to be much greater than that of the non-remote version of this thermal mass flow meter, the Series 200C. To give you the needed accurate measurements, the 525CR series uses ultra-stable, rugged, and cleanable measurement thermal mass flow sensors. Built upon our proprietary temperature compensation techniques, it utilizes two RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensing elements made of reference-grade platinum, ceramic, glass, and stainless steel. These sensing elements are also abrasion and corrosion resistant due to the stainless-steel sheath.
