Shaft Speed Switches
Electro-Sensors - Shaft Speed Sensor with Relay
The Electro-Sensors FB420 2.0 speed sensor provides a 4-20 mA signal directly proportional to the rotational speed of a monitored shaft and has a 4 digit LCD display capable of displaying from 0.000 to 9,999 rpm or from 4 to 20 mA, the display is also used for calibration and trouble-shooting. The sensor has one relay that can be programmed for failsafe over-speed alarm or failsafe under-speed alarm. The 2.0 version of the FB420 has built-in testing functionality. The under-speed test allows the user to test for slowdowns, this allows the user to test for system warnings and shutdowns. The FB420 is used to monitor shaft speed on equipment that includes: belt conveyors, drag conveyors, bucket elevators, fans, blowers, crushers, and pumps.
Electro Sensors - Shaft Speed Switch
The M100T and M5000T are compact, self-contained shaft rotation monitoring speed switches ideal for detecting unwanted slowdown or stoppage of process equipment. They have a terminal block inside the housing for easy wiring connection, calibration, and installation. The M100T has a relay setpoint range of between 5 rpm and 100 rpm. The M5000T has a relay setpoint range of between 100 rpm and 5,000 rpm; this is the range where the relay can be set to trip.
Shaft Speed Sensors
Electro-Sensors - Explosion Proof Shaft Speed Sensor - Hall Effect
907 XP sensors are used in applications requiring hazardous location ratings, or in applications where the sensor may be subject to abuse. It has a 1-inch NPT conduit opening for wiring, terminal strip for wiring, and is provided with a mounting bracket and 10 ft of cable. The quadrature (bidirectional) option has two sensors and is designed for applications requiring both speed and direction information. Specify vertical alignment when the magnets will pass vertically in front of the sensor face, and horizontal alignment when the magnets will pass horizontally in front of the sensor face.
Electro-Sensors - Shaft Speed Sensors - Hall Effect
Model 906 sensors are water resistant and suitable for industrial applications, including environments where dirt, dust, grease, or moisture are present. The 906 standard sensor has a threaded aluminum body, and is supplied with a mounting bracket and 10 ft of cable. The quadrature (bidirectional) option has two sensors and is designed for applications requiring both speed and direction information. These speed sensors use magnet-sensing Hall Effect IC's to produce a digital pulse signal to interface with speed switches, tachometers, counters, signal conditioners, or PLC's. Hall Effect sensors provide true zero speed operation with square-wave output and immunity to electrical noise.
Shaft Speed Pulse Generators and Shaft Speed Targets
Electro-Sensors - Pulser Discs - Shaft Pulse Generation
Pulser Discs are a necessary part of a speed monitoring system. Discs provide magnetic sensor shaft targets and are compatible with Electro-Sensors' shaft speed sensors. The large gap allows maximum flexibility in mounting the sensor, making them ideal for environments where there is vibration, dirt, dust, grease, or water. The number of pulses per revolution generated by the Pulser Disc and sensor depends on the sensor used. Simply center-drill and tap the end of the shaft to be monitored and secure the Pulser Disc onto the shaft.
Electro-Sensors - Split Collar Pulser Shaft Mount Wraps
Standard Pulser Wraps have magnets mounted on the outside circumference that serve as targets for Hall Effect and Magnetoresistive sensors that switch when exposed to magnetic fields. All wraps are custom machined to the diameter of the monitored shaft and are split into halves. The halves are secured around the shaft with recessed Allen head socket screws (supplied). Standard pulser wraps provide magnetic targets that are strong enough to allow gap distances up to 1/2 inch. Standard Wraps are 1.5" wide and have a minimum outside diameter of 4"
Wireless Hazard Monitoring
Electro-Sensors HazardPRO - Wireless Hazard Monitoring System
For years a large percentage of the expense of a hazard monitoring system has been the labor and material costs associated with the installation of conduit and wiring. Our field-proven HazardPRO™ Wireless Hazard Monitoring System was designed from the ground-up to provide turnkey, reliable, and consistent protection for your most valuable assets. Consistent operation is ensured with built-in tools such as self-diagnostics, transmission logging, and redundant radios providing you confidence that your critical processes are being monitored and logged at all times. As a truly integrated system built expressly for hazard monitoring, HazardPRO captures and displays key information in an intuitive format allowing the user to quickly and comprehensively understand the status of their processes.
Electro-Sensors HazardPRO - Shaft RPM Sensor
The shaft RPM sensor is typically mounted to the tail shaft of the machine being monitored. The sensor is mounted in the EZ 1 Mag mounting bracket assembly, which attaches to the tail shaft with a 1/2"-13 UNC tapped hole.
Wired Hazard Monitoring
Electro-Sensors Electro-Sentry - Hazard Monitoring System for Single-Leg or Conveyor
The Electro-Sentry 1 Controller is part of a hazard monitoring system commonly used on grain elevator legs or conveyors to monitor critical points for shaft slowdown, bearing temperature, and belt alignment as part of a predictive maintenance program to protect against catastrophic breakdowns and machinery failure resulting in product waste, machinery damage, and process downtime. Electro-Sensors` 4-20mA Speed & Temperature sensors are compatible with the ES1 and provide live sensor data of machine performance.
Electro-Sensors - Hazard Monitoring System
The Electro-Sentry 16 is a hazard monitoring system commonly used on grain elevator legs or conveyors to monitor critical points for bearing temperature and belt alignment as part of a predictive maintenance program to protect against catastrophic breakdowns and machinery failure resulting in product waste, machinery damage, and process downtime. All Electro-Sentry 16 sensors provide a standard 4-20 mA signal for reliability and accuracy.
