Magnetic Stirrer

These equipment are intended for stirring solutions of low viscosity in open or closed vessels. Stirring is accomplished by a magnetised tefloncoated paddle to be placed in the container. Each apparatus of this group can be operated on a bench, a stand or a laboratory scaffold as well. The intensity of stirring, depending on requirements, can be adjusted with the programmable digital speed control and time can be set digitally.

Rota Mantle

The Rotomantle is a combination of heating Mantle cum Magnetic Stirrer to obtain heating & stirring in flat bottom round flasks. The unit has two tier construction with the upper compartment consisting heating mantle made of fiberglass yarn & fitted with heating element. The smooth running apparatus utilises the rotating magnetic field from a balanced permanent magnet to induce variable stirring action & uniform heating in closed or open flat bottom round flasks. The unit is provided with a teflon coated magnetic stirring paddle. The stepless Speed Control enables stirring from very low to the maximum & the energy regulator controls the heating at any desired percentage of the heating capacity.

Vortex Mixer

The unit is meant for quick and thorough out mixing of liquids in test tubes, small flasks or bottles. The mixer consists of an enamel finished housing containing the motor with an eccentric drive to a rubber buffer on the top. The tube is held against the vibrating buffer and the intensity of agitation controlled by varying the position in which the tube is held. The thyristorised speed controller enables adjustment of degree of oscillations.
