Elettra - Damped Capacitive Impulse Voltage Measuring Divider
Damped capacitive impulse voltage measuring dividers are specialized devices designed to convert high lightning, chopped lightning, or switching impulse voltages into measureable values suitable for transient recorders or peak voltmeters. These dividers can handle peak voltages up to 4800 kV and are structured to meet IEC standard 60060-2 requirements. They utilize high-voltage capacitors made of solid polypropylene units immersed in oil, combined with damping resistors, all housed within fiber-glass cylinders. These components form a compact, coaxial design with low inductance to resist electrical noise. A termination resistor is provided for 75 Ω measuring cables. Earthing is optimized with metallic plates, and the structure is mechanically supported with fiber-glass rods. The top electrode, typically a double toroid, includes external damping resistors and can be customized according to test voltage levels. The dividers are rigorously tested and certified by the RSE calibration laboratory.
Elettra - Digital Impulse Acquisition and Analysis System
The DIAS, or Digital Impulse Acquisition and Analysis System, is an advanced digital impulse analyzer that is integral to measuring and analyzing impulse voltages and currents in high-voltage systems. Designed with a modular and expandable architecture, the DIAS is suitable for rack or desk mounting in laboratory settings, particularly within impulse test systems' control units. It effectively performs measurements on full and chopped lightning or switching impulse voltages, and is heavily protected against electromagnetic interference common in these tests. Complying with standards such as IEC and IEEE, it can be used in routine and type testing of components like transformers and cables, and supports research and factory testing applications. The system's software facilitates precise analysis of impulse parameters and supports seamless integration with AMETest impulse generators, ensuring efficient tuning and testing.
