Wastewater Management Systems - Storm Tank & Sewer Cleansing

Eliquo-Hydrok - Flushing Bell

The ELIQUO HYDROK CWF Storm Flush storm tank cleansing system, also referred to as the HYDROK `Flushing Bell`, provides a cost effective solution for the removal of sedimentation by the use of automatic, self-regulated flushing technology. The CWF Storm Flush system is a highly effective non-powered cleaning system for all storm water retention tanks, rectangular or round, utilising the sewage storm water for the flushing process thus requiring no additional fresh water.

Eliquo-Hydrok - Channel Flushing Gate

Throughout the UK there are many sewerage networks containing sewers in low lying areas where insufficient gradients cause siltation problems. This can lead to a loss of hydraulic capacity within the network, loss of performance of downstream treatment works or ancillary pumping stations.

Eliquo-Hydrok - Vacuum Flushing System

With increasing demands upon sewerage networks to attenuate and provide storage capacity for storm water flows, water companies are required to invest into new and existing storage systems. All such systems encourage the settlement of solids and sediments which can lead to operational problems and high maintenance costs. Incoming organic material also results in considerable odour nuisance. In order to effectively clean up the retention tanks, the Vacuum Flushing System (VFS) was developed which can be used with or without electrical energy.

Eliquo Hydrok - Flushing Gate for Tanks and Sewers

With increasing demands upon sewerage networks to attenuate and provide storage capacity for storm water flows, water companies are required to invest into new and existing storage systems. All such systems encourage the settlement of solids and sediments which can lead to further operational problems and high maintenance costs.

Wastewater Management Systems - Screening & Water Treatment

Eliquo Hydrok - Static Peak Screen

During times of rainfall the sewerage systems within our networks become overwhelmed with combined sewage and rain water. In order to prevent the flooding of these sewers, overflow weirs allow discharge at strategic points within the system into the water course. These receiving waters are protected through the installation of Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Screens. These screens are designed to prevent sewage debris from passing over the weir, retaining it within the sewer. The ELIQUO HYDROK Peak Screen system utilises patented 6mm x 6mm profile wedge wire providing effective screening solutions for many applications including CSO chambers, Storm storage tanks and Pump chambers.

Eliquo Hydrok - Self-Cleaning Mechanical Screens

During times of rainfall the sewerage systems within our networks become overwhelmed with combined sewage and rain water. In order to prevent the flooding of these sewers, overflow weirs allow discharge at strategic points within the system into the water course. These receiving waters are protected through the installation of Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Screens. These screens are designed to prevent sewage debris from passing over the weir, retaining it within the sewer. The ELIQUO HYDROK MecMex mechanically cleaned storm overflow screen, has been developed to be located into CSO applications to retain all solids greater that 6mm x 6mm in two dimensions within the sewer network.

Eliquo Hydrok - Lifting Systems

The ELIQUO HYDROK MecMex lifting system is designed to eliminate the need for operation and maintenance teams to enter hazardous underground areas to carry out routine inspection of HYDROK MecMex CSO screens. The design was developed during consideration of the Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations regarding the health and safety issues of working underground.

Eliquo Hydrok - Static Screen

During times of rainfall the sewerage systems within our networks become overwhelmed with combined sewage and rain water which can cause particular problems within pumping stations. In order to prevent the flooding within the pumping station an overflow weir should be fitted to allow discharge into the water course. These receiving waters are protected through the installation of Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Screens. These screens are designed to prevent sewage debris from passing over the weir, retaining it within the pumping station.

Wastewater Management Systems - Flow Control

Eliquo Hydrok - Flow Control Regulators

With increasing demands upon the control of flows within water systems the modern mechanical flow control regulators are now required to provide increasingly accurate and reliable operation. Flow regulators have the task of restricting the pass forward flow from the storm water retention system to a pre-set value.  The ALPHEUS flow regulators are a proven cost effective technique for regulating flows from as little as 6 l/s form storm water and 2 l/s for surface water applications. The ALPHEUS regulators are designed with automatic blockage release, operating within either the dry or wet side of the control chamber, they can be retrofitted into existing chambers or supplied as a new stainless steel package chamber.
