EloPhos - Phosphorus Recovery System
EloPhos is a system for the recovery of phosphate from digested sewage sludge emanating from waste water treatment plants with biological phosphate (bio-P) removal in the form of Magnesium-Ammonium-Phosphate (“struvite”) fertiliser. The EloPhos process is based on the precipitation of dissolved phosphate from digested sewage sludge using magnesium salts, usually magnesium chloride (MgCl2). The increased pH-value required for an efficient struvite precipitation is achieved by the EloVac vacuum degassing.
Lysotherm - Sludge Digestion Plant
LysoTherm is a novel, patented system for thermal disintegration of organic sludge, in particular sewage sludge. Its unique design enables the effective, economical and reliable disintegration of sludge, even in smaller treatment plants (from about 30,000 PE). The goal: The improvement in the anaerobic stabilisation (digestion) of organic sludge, particularly sewage sludge. This increases the gas yield and consequently the energy gain. At the same time, the organic residue in digested sludge reduces and sludge dewatering improves – the dry matter content (DM) in the dewatered sludge increases. The volume of sewage sludge to be disposed is reduced.
PYREG - Sewage Sludge Disposal Plant
Disposing of sewage sludge is expensive. In addition to the energy costs, it generates the largest portion of operating costs. As a result, the goal must be to reduce the amount of sludge to the greatest extend possible. In addition sludge represents a major energy resource. Digestion alone only makes use of this potential to a certain extent. A PYREG plant mineralises even wet biomass like sewage sludge. This dramatically reduces the amount of sludge to be disposed of. The intelligent integration of the plant into the overall system uses the energy remaining in the digested and dried sewage sludge for the mineralisation process.
LysoTherm - Thermal Pressure Hydrolysis System
Proudly we present our own LysoTherm Thermal Pressure Hydrolysis system. LysoTherm is applied for thermal pressure treatment of Waste Acticvated Sludge’s (WAS) produced during the biological treatment of sewage. Lysotherm® is a so called continuous TPH system, treating sludge’s of 2-12%ds in various operational configurations with digestion.
Demon - Nitrogen Removal System
The DEMON nitrogen removal technology has been developed by the University of Innsbruck and is world-wide provided by the company DEMON GmbH and Sweco (The Netherlands, UK and Scandinavia). ELIQUO has designed, constructed and delivered various liquor treatment plants in Europe. Recently ELIQUO has completed the contract for the liquor treatment project at the WWTP of Echten in the Netherlands. The DEMON technology is converting ammonium into nitrate and reducing the nitrogen loads in the liquor stream from sludge dewatering facilities. By doing this the oxygen requirements of the WWTP are significantly reduced.
