The ELKAYAM modular design system allows optimum integration of requirements for virtually any capacity or demand. MSW Systems take municipal waste after primary sorting to a rotating screen that divides the waste into principal categories (organic and non-organic), graded by size and density. The screen is fitted with bag-tearing elements to ensure that all plastic bags are opened. Non-organic material is passed to the sorting stage (PET, cardboard etc.). The organic material is passed to a secondary screening process and stored in windrows for composting. Non-organic material goes to either a baler for recycling (sorted material) or landfill (or even compaction).

Demolition rubble systems take material waste from demolition sites and sort and process the various materials into both immediately reusable materials of differing grades and into fractions which can be sold and re-processed into valid raw material again. In the presorting stage, large lumps are sent for crushing, plastics are removed, and ferrous and nonferrous materials are separated. Fine material is removed, and the graded materials then can move on to crushing grading and washing processes for immediate recycling. The output can go to various configurations, including crushing and Elkayam washing, screening and drying systems.

CRP plants are designed especially for the recycling of valuable aggregates and sand from discarded material as well as for the improvement of site environment. Strategic positioning of the CRP plant also enables all the local surface water on site to be collected and reinserted in to thew process.

EL vibrating screens are able to segregate a wide range of bulk materials in sizes ranging from 0-250 mm. The product range caters for all applications, i.e. material classification, working character of the material, different capacities and screening quality. The screens are produced in line with international standards.
