The Deep Sea Water Sampling System raises fluid sampling on a whole new level. In marine environments with extreme conditions this system guarantees pure and uncontaminated in situ samples. It can be individually set-up to fit onto a wide range of platforms, such as ROVs or long term benthic stations. Designed in a modular way, each component is constructed to meet challenging environments. Therefore it is the ideal equipment in order to sample hot fluids in water depths up to 5000 m. All materials have been chosen carefully and are non-reactive with high temperature- highly enriched fluids.

The Epibenthic Sledge „EMMA“ is the latest generation of EBS based upon the design of Brenke (2005) and various improvements of this design (Brenke, 2012 to 2014).

The Epibenthic Sledge „Superlow“ is an EBS of very slim design; EBS "Superlow" equipped with video and light.

The Agassiz Trawl, originally named "Blake-Trawl, was described by Alexander Agassiz (1888). The Agassiz Trawl (AGT) was designed to catch megabenthos, lager benthic organisms like crustaceans (prawns, crabs), echinoderms (sea urchins, starfishes), mollusks (snails, clams, squid) or demersal fishes.
