The spiral screw screen has been designed for the pre-treatment of the wastewater in the small and medium size sewage treatment plants up to 1000 m3/h. It can be installed either directly in a channel or in a tank. The biggest model fits into a 800 mm channel. The EMO spiral screw screen can also be used for septic tanks receiving station, faecal matters, scum…….

In waste water treatment, screw conveyors are used to transport waste from bar screens. The conveyor consists of a coreless screw rotating in a U-shaped trough, lined with a durable material.
