EMPO-NI’s family of Solar Direct Drives "SDD" are passively cooled robust "stand alone" PV-solar powered motor drive solutions with Maximum Power Point Tracking and IP54(65) protection degree. They provide a rapidly paying-off substitute for Diesel or propane gas-powered pumping solutions.

For an elementary supply of water EMPO-NI has developed a cost optimized submersible motor driven pump. The stainless steel motor is available with interchangeable stainless steel pumps optimized for pump heads of typically 30m, 85m and 100m (others on request). The set comprises the proven robust passively cooled EMPO-NI SDD1.5kW-425V and a pump head / discharge optimized submersible pump. Runs with any 4 quality PV-panels (60 cells).

The indoor COVID-19 infection risk is currently being discussed worldwide. The finest droplets (aerosols) that arise when you exhale are suspected to be likely carriers of viruses. In fact, aerosols float in the air for a long time and can spread widely. If you inhale these aerosols in sufficiently large quantities, there is a possibility of a COVID-19 infection. In contrast to CO2, aerosols can only be measured with a comparatively large and complex effort. However, from the easily ascertainable CO2 content in the air, one can in principle also infer the aerosol content in the air, since both arise during the same process, namely when exhaling. Hence, the CO2 content of the air can also be used as an indicator for the content of aerosols in closed rooms. A low CO2 content then also means a low risk of infection by viruses that are transported in aerosols.
