The Hydrake is a hydraulic, compact and robust new mechanism that mimics the job of a grit rake, but with greater reliability and efficiency all in one closed off unit. This enables the Hydrake to run without constant maintenance and doesn’t require a cage to be fitted around it. All moving parts on our Hydrake are easily accessible which makes it easier, safer and quicker to maintain than a traditional grit rake. The Hydrake encourages sustainability by helping push for net-zero and in its reduction of carbon footprint.

The purpose of the Classifier is to separate grit from water. The Classifier has modular construction and can sit at ground level without the need for civil engineering works unlike the Hydrake which needs to be elevated. Its great for newer sites that don’t have the means for a grit rake but still need a form of grit removal. The EMS Classifier is also good for older sites that don’t have the ground work in place for something that sits higher. Our Classifiers are slightly smaller than traditional Classifiers, this is because our Classifier can handle more grit per liter of water than other’s, that require a lot of water for a smaller amount of grit, making our classifiers more efficient and economical.

Currently we have the CVR (Compact Vertical Ram) and the CVRG, both come with a 200mm ram. The CVR is the smallest of all our pumps and one of the most popular for projects where high pressures aren’t needed. The CVRG has a few differences which enable it to process more abrasive materials, such as grit and small stones, they are primarily used for transferring sludge to and from primary settlement tanks and de-sludging.

This is our VRM (Vertical Ram Mechanical) Pump range. It is practical and durable allowing objects up to 75mm to pass through it. The VRM can reach up to 8 bar and can pump up to 480 litres per minute. Our VRM’s are suitable for heavy duty de-sludging, 24 hour operation, slow speed and quiet operational functions. All of our VRM’s can create a suction vacuum of 0.85 bar the equivalent to 8.5 meters static suction.

This is our VRH (Vertical Ram Hydraulic) Pump range which enables a larger pressure than the VRM’s. They can reach up to 25 bar, the VRH’s can also carry a greater volume and flow of 1800 litres per minute. All of our VRH’s can create a suction vacuum of 0.85 bar the equivalent to 8.5 meters static suction.

Our CVRD (Compact Vertical Ram Duplex) range offers all the power of a CVR and more, with two rams that can give twice the flow at a more consistent rate. One ram pulls in as the other is pushing out, giving a more time efficient flow. The CVRD200 has a flow rate of 300 litres per minute and can reach up to 4 bar.

The Detritor is a mechanism with three scrapers which circulates pushing grit into the grit collection chamber, where it awaits removal via a pump or Hydrake. The water and grit separate, drying the grit, the water then flows back into the Detritor.
