Emtec WLAC range are all-purpose, extruded aluminium Weather Louvres. Typically installed within an opening in the building’s envelope, they provide a physical barrier and prevent the passage of water. Emtec WLAC weather louvres have an aesthetically pleasing external appearance which compliments any architectural design. Supplied and installed as modular units or as a continuous line system, the system’s flexibility therefore allows designers freedom to be creative. Furthermore, we have a range of external frame profiles that enable integration of WLAC weather louvres into most cladding systems.

Emtec have developed a range of architectural aluminium profiles and systems for applications such as Brise Soleil and External Solar Shading. These are versatile systems, so allow shading fins vertical alignment against the building façade or horizontal projection above glazed areas. Typically we’ll work alongside the specialist façade contractor, in order to engineer and design the necessary retaining brackets and restraints. Good design outcomes are firstly, a simple incorporation of the solar shading with the envelope and, most importantly, an energy reducing architectural feature of the finished building.

Emtec’s range of architectural aluminium louvres and fins are ideal for use as Visual Screens around mechanical plant. Engineered to permit the airflow necessary for efficient operation of machinery, careful design achieves up to 100% visual screening. In addition, the various systems on offer allow great flexibility in configuration and connection to the building. So, designers and architects can have creative freedom in their design concepts.

Emtec Acoustic Louvres are external weather louvres with acoustically absorbent blade elements.  They are specifically designed to reduce the level of noise passing from one side of the acoustic louvre to the other. Use Emtec acoustic louvres in the following typical situations: The control of mechanical fan noise, Plantroom ventilation, General purpose ventilation, Acoustic screening. Install Emtec acoustic louvres as individual units.  Alternatively, connect together to accommodate any size openings. Another application is for acoustic screening.  Standard accessories include corner units, supporting steelwork, doors and blanked sections in order to form a complete self-contained structure.

Emtec Acoustic Panels are specifically designed to meet the increasing requirements to shield personnel from high noise levels emitted from plant and machinery. Emtec acoustic panels serve a variety of applications, however they typically form enclosures around: Turbo-compressors, Diesel-driven generators, Pumps, Fans, Condensers, Audiometric rooms and quiet booths

Emtec Acoustic Doors are double skinned metal doors specifically designed to provide optimum noise reduction combined with ease of operation.Typical applications of the Emtec range of acoustic doors are to permit access into areas such as,Turbine or Diesel Engine Test Cells, Generator Plantrooms, Ventilation or Air-Conditioning Plantrooms, Plenum Chambers, Industrial Process Control Rooms, Quiet Havens, Audiometric Facilities and Recording Studios.

Emtec Acoustic Cladding systems introduce acoustic absorption into spaces in order to reduce the reverberation time of the contained volume. In particular, consider situations where hard, acoustically reflective materials enclose noisy machinery, e.g.: Concrete, Brick, Blockwork, Plastered walls and ceilings.
