EMW now offers electrically dissipative ATEX-certified air filters for use in potentially explosive environments. All ATEX air filters offered by EMW® provide directive-compliant safety over the entire range of ATEX explosive groups and hazardous zones.

SYNFASAN U15 - U50 are outlet-side compressed polyester nonwoven filter media available in Filter Classes G2 - G4 according to EN 779. SYNFASAN is used for coarse dust removal in prefiltration, as a cut-to-size flat panel or as a `Z` pleated filter housed in an exchangeable plastic frame. SYNFASAN is also available in an optional version incorporating a plastic reinforcing grid on the outlet side. SYNFASAN media are environment-friendly products made without bonding agents of any kind.

Foams provide the basis for a huge variety of products. Foams used in filtration applications must have an open pore structure providing paths which permit the gas or liquid filtered to pass through the foam and thoroughly permeate its inner surface.

Our many years of experience in the filtration technology sector provide the basis for our expertise in the field of foam filter. We offer a broad range of open-cell and closed-cell polyurethane foams in various colours and in all common densities. A special process known as reticulation is used after fabrication to open the pores of the foam. Various reactor configurations are available for fabrication of uniform open-cell pore structures with controlled pore spacings of between PPI 10 and PPI 80 (PPI = Pores per Inch).

EMW^® Z–line pre-filter cells are used primarily in ventilation and air conditioning systems and air intake systems for turbomachinery. Their filter media are made up of 100 % synthetic materials and offer a very large filter surface due to their "Z" pleat configuration. Their extremely high dust holding capacity is maintained even at 100% relative humidity. Our Z-line pre-filter cells are available in metal frames, cardboard frames or exchangeable plastic frames.

EMW^® coarse dust filters are primarily used in turbomachinery air intake systems, ventilation and air conditioning systems, laboratories, chemical and pharmaceutical plants as well as in fume removal hoods at workplaces. These pocket filters - available in stitched and welded versions - are made of synthetic media fulfilling Filter Classes G3 - G4. (Pocket filters in filter classes M5-F9 can be found under medium and fine dust pocket filters).

EMW® medium & fine dust filters are primarily used in turbomachinery air intake systems, ventilation and air conditioning systems, laboratories, chemical and pharmaceutical plants as well as fume removal hoods at workplaces. These pocket filters - available in stitched and welded versions - are made of synthetic or glass-fibre media fulfilling filter classes M5 - F9.

EMW^®´s GT minipleat compact cassette filters are designed specifically for protection of turbomachinery air intake systems. They offer maximum filter surface area, take up minimum space and provide very long service life with highly cost-efficient operation.
