Environmental Impact Assessment Service (EIA)

Environmental impact assessment (EIA) represent the environmental preventive manner being executed through development of the Study, that includes consultations with public participation, anticipation and analyses of the alternatives, and elaboration of the measures on prevention, reduction and elimination of the hazard impacts. Preparation of the EIA Study considers description of the baseline characteristics of the location chosen for the project development, anticipation of the harmful impacts of the project on the human life and health, on the flora and fauna, on the environmental media, and on material and cultural goods, along with the mutual impact of all these factors, and finally defines mitigation measures which are not compromising project’s feasibility.

IPPC Permitting Service

Respecting the requirements of the main legal act governing environmental protection – Law on environmental protection (Official gazette of RS, No. 135/04, 36/2009, 72/09, 43/11 and 14/16), operations of the new and existing plants and activities with potentially negative impacts against human health and environment or material assets, are subject to integrated (IPPC) permitting which should enable prevention and control of the environmental pollution. IPPC permitting is in detailed prescribed by the Law on IPPC (Official gazette of RS”, No. 135/04 and 25/15), including types of activities and plants, conditions and procedures for permit issuance, supervision and other issues of importance.

EHS Audit

Environmental and Health and Safety Assessments Audit Phase I Service (EHS)

Environmental and Health and Safety assessments (EHS audit) represent the fundament of our services, based on our considerable experience. EHS audits are mainly realized as a part of the transaction processes when the potential buyers need to understand the risks and the level of liability inherited, which results from the implemented EHS management and historical practices. Beside the transactions, this type of service is deemed by the large companies interested in conducting internal, corporative audits in order to understand the compliance status compared either with legislation, good management practice or internal standards.

Environmental and Health and Safety Assessments Audit Phase II Service (EHS)

For the assessments that result in the need of site investigation, it is requested to evaluate the contamination status and to determine the presence of deleterious and hazardous substances and materials, in order to confirm or deny assumptions gained during the initial assessment.

Environmental and Health and Safety Assessments Audit Phase III Service (EHS)

The process of remediation may be initiation for the cases when the initial phases of the environmental assessment result in documented contamination of the environmental media, primary soil and groundwater. Remediation activities enables the quality of the contaminated media to be ensured at the level before the contamination emerged i.e. at the level prescribed by the legislation. Through the Decree on limit values of polluting, harmful and hazardous substances in soil (Official gazette of RS, No. 30/18), national legislation on management with contaminated sites introduce the triggers for initiation of remediation activities i.e. for development of the Remediation Designs.

The Legal Registers enable the Client to recognize the level and scope of the EHS legislation implemented at any of the ex-Yugoslavian countries but also to understand EHS legislation particularly applicable for its business and production activities, including required permitting, measurement and monitoring obligations, applicable thresholds, etc;

Seveso Service

Regulation on the list of hazardous substances and their quantities and the criteria for determining the type of document produced by SEVESO plant operator or complex (Official gazette of the RS, No. 41/2010 and 51/2015) defines the criteria for determing whether the operator belogs to SEVESO plant or not.

Local Environmental Action Plan Design Service (LEAP)

LEAP or Local Environmental Action Plan represents a starting point for identifying and addressing of environmental issues in the local communities. Develop of LEAP is supported and managed by the working group, comprised of the representatives of all relevant instututions at the local level, with direct involvment of the public in a form of media,NGO representatives and citizens.
