Corrugated Plate Interceptors
For bulk removal of large oil and solids particles from produced water in low pressure applications prior to polishing, often for reinjection, Enhydra can design Corrugated Plate Interceptors and supply internals specific to your process requirements. Our Corrugated Plate Interceptor CPI design is used to remove bulk oil from the water using coalescence and separation, combined with our solids jetting systems, oil and solids are removed from the water. Enhydra’s plate packs can also be used to improve the size and economy of any existing separator systems.
Deoiling Hydrocyclone
The LL15 hydrocyclone liner represents the latest generation in high efficiency cyclone design. The unique design of the LL15 results in exceptional efficiency and means that our hydrocyclone is suitable for use in 99% of produced water treatment applications. With twin inlets and a unique acceleration profile the high efficiency LL15 hydrocyclone liner has been shown to achieve separation performances of more than 99% and can handle inlet oil concentrations in excess of 20%. Whether for new projects or as an upgrade to existing vessels, the LL15 hydrocyclone will provide operators with the best performance throughout the widest flow range while reducing oil discharge levels and minimising operator intervention.
Desanding Hydrocyclones
Enhydra’s DS range of desanding hydrocyclones are the latest development in desanding technology. The hydrocyclone is suitable for a range of applications including sand washing packages, wellhead desanding and produced water desanding. The DS range of desanding hydrocyclone has 5 standard sizes that can be used depending upon the application. Hydrocylone liners can be made from a variety of materials to suit the application. Test liners are available and can be used on site either on their own, or as part of a larger technology assessment. They can also be used as a performance indicator to troubleshoot existing applications. Individual test units are available.
Induced Gas Flotation System
Typical problems with gas flotation systems originate from poor selection of technology and a lack of understanding regarding unit design. Central to all Enhydra produced water treatment technology is a comprehensive understanding of the process. Our flotation systems are designed to optimise oily water skimming and minimise risk of “short circuiting”. We supply a full range of gas flotation technology including internals and external eductors, baffles, diffusers and gas dispersion devices which are core to our Single and Multi Cell IGF Units and Dissolved Gas Flotation Units. We guarantee our products and verify our designs using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) as required.
Vortixx - Compact Flotation Unit
The Vortixx compact flotation unit is one of the latest second generation Compact Flotation Units available on the market. Based upon a complex combination of multiple separation techniques the unique design of the Vortixx compact flotation unit results in outstanding separation performance on some of the toughest duties. The Vortixx compact flotation unit has repeatedly outperformed other leading products in comparison tests.
Oil Absorption Media
PS85 is the world’s leading granular oil absorption media for the removal of total petroleum hydrocarbons from produced water, outperforming GAC/Granular Activated Carbon. PS85 is a patented non-swelling organoclay granular media that removes hydrocarbons from water by means of chemisorption. It is specifically designed for total petroleum hydrocarbon removal, including amongst many substances, Phenols, PAH and BTEX and is ideally suited to the removal of emulsions. The oil absorption filter is suitable for a variety of applications such as treatment of stable emulsions in gas condensate and produced water, extended well testing, guard filters and bilge water polishing. Units are commonly designed to remove hydrocarbons to less than 5ppm.
Sand Washing Systems
Utilising our high efficiency DS desanding hydrocyclones, Enhydra can supply sand cleaning systems designed to clean sand which typically originates from upstream Desanding Hydrocyclones and from Sand Jetting operations. Sand washing systems are available for various flow rates for tertiary treatment of solids. Our sand washing systems clean the sand, typically removing the hydrocarbons to less than 1% to facilitate overboard disposal. Sand bagging systems can be provided to allow transport of solids to a suitable disposal location.
