Enflo-Vite - Dissolved Air Flotation System

We have been at the forefront in being able to offer technologies that operate at high rate, reducing footprint and land requirements. Doosan Enpure introduced Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) into the UK in 1972.  More recently we introduced Enflo-ViteTM which is part of the Enflo-DAFTM family.  This is another major breakthrough in process intensification which can be retrofitted to provide increased capacity from existing assets.  In contrast the Doosan Enpure Enflo-FiltTM was the forerunner of systems that combine flotation and filtration in a single process unit providing opportunities for further savings in plant footprint.  The Enflo-PITM modular system provides effective distribution of saturated water to our latest patented DAF nozzles whilst being straight forward to install within DAF tanks up to 16m wide. forward to install within DAF tanks up to 16m wide.

Doosan Enpure - Filtration System

Doosan Enpure offers a full range of media filtration packages whether in steel or concrete at rates upto 25m/h, operating under pressure or gravity for municipal or industrial scale water treatment applications. These packages comprise system designs, including one or more of the following, underdrains, mono or multi-media beds, backwash and control. Designs and supply can be configured to suit the end user`s requirements for a wide range of water or seawater filtration applications, for such areas as direct filtration, post clarification polishing, tertiary filtration, biological or manganese contactors, in single or multiple stages as appropriate. Media selection to suit an application can range from silica sand, pumice, anthracite, expanded clay, GAC etc..

Biological Wastewater Treatment Plants

Doosan Enpure has a wide range of experience in designing and building biological wastewater treatment plants of all types. In many applications a traditional activated sludge process is the most economic, and the configuration may be adapted to suit the circumstances, from a relatively simple Inclined Bubble Aeration (IBA) plant, to a complex nutrient removal plant. However, the need to construct a plant in a  restricted space, in an environmentally sensitive location, or to meet a very strict effluent standard, may make it necessary to use a more sophisticated process; in these cases a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR), Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR) or Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) may provide a more appropriate solution.

Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants

Municipal wastewater treatment plants have a very long life, typically 50 years or more, and often have to meet the demands of changing circumstances; flows and loads increase with time and environmental standards are gradually raised. In many cases it is possible to modify or extend the plant rather than build a new one. Doosan Enpure has a long track record of upgrading existing plants using process intensification techniques to make the most of existing assets and minimise capital expenditure whilst ensuring that the most up-to-date energy-saving technologies are incorporated.

Pasteurisation Process System

Pasteurisation is a process to reduce the number of viable pathogenic organisms in a material to a level below that which would cause infection; it is most usually achieved by heating the material to a minimum temperature and holding at this temperature for a minimum time.  In recent years legislation requiring pasteurisation has been introduced in many countries across the world to ensure that recycled organic materials such as sewage sludge and food waste are safe for use in agriculture and horticulture (e.g. in the UK the Animal By-Product Regulations  or the Safe Sludge Matrix would apply).
