Enpurion EC is a major advance in electro-coagulation technology, using concentric electrodes to provide high surface to volume ratios and minimal mean-free-path for target pollutants. Bi-metallic electrodes create a galvanic potential that reduces the requirement for external power, making the EC reactors far more efficient and effective. Electrodes and operating set points can be customized to meet specific site conditions and target species.

Not all problems are readily addressed with a single technology. Enpurion recognizes that very often, a combination of techniques and technology can be designed in a way that provides a more robust system that operates reliably and at a lower cost. Examples of this combination include filters, sorption or ion exchange, or chemical and biological methods. An industrial foundry with a variety of challenging problems including sub-micron particles, a variety of heavy metals and off-site flows. When needed, Enpurion can work with companies to develop or adapt technology in unique ways, from capital intensive systems to adapting traditional, low-tech options for improved performance.

Ion Exchange technology has a number of remarkable capabilities but also has limitations. Enpurion Ion Exchange systems use chemical equilibrium and a step-wise treatment approach to overcome some of the IX limitations for high solute concentrations – literally creating new water molecules from corrosive influent and reducing metals to near non- detectable levels. This makes zero-discharge technology accessible and cost effective where it was not possible before. 

Enpurion mass-separation technologies adapt traditional gravimetric and filtration technologies in new ways to achieve superior results at lower cost.
