Mechanical Engineering
Entech’s mechanical engineering staff provides consulting and design services for industrial, institutional, governmental and commercial clients, playing a vital role in our full-service design team. Entech’s background in energy conservation provides a strong foundation for the mechanical design work. The mechanical team provides master utility planning services, including planning for the upgrade and expansion of central utilities such as boiler plants and central chilled water systems. Our mechanical engineers are recognized for their abilities to meet the challenges of modernizing older buildings to meet today’s occupant requirements and maximize the potential for energy efficiency. Water Engineering
From contracts ranging in the tens of millions of dollars to that of Engineer of Record for small municipalities, Entech’s water services team treats each project as a number one priority. Overseeing the feasibility, design, and construction of water systems facilities, including associated SCADA and instrumentation systems, this group demonstrates strong, technically advanced project standards. The team also brings considerable relevant experience to projects in the form of analysis skills such as distribution modeling, hydraulic design, and life cycle costing. Wastewater Engineering
Whether the project is big or small, involves collection, treatment, or pumping, is new or renovation, Entech’s staff of environmental engineers, scientists, designers, and CAD operators are an experienced and capable team that can help solve the wastewater problem at hand. Our overall experience, competent staff, familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as our ongoing close relationship with numerous PADEP offices, helps us quickly come to grips with a problem and arrive at a reasonable solution. Most of our designs are tried and true, but innovative solutions are developed where required, as was the case with a past project for the Boy Scouts of America. Due to stringent DEP discharge requirements, we developed a conventional wastewater treatment plant with no stream discharge. The solution involved the design of only the second drip irrigation system installed in Pennsylvania. Working for numerous municipalities and authorities in Pennsylvania, such as the City of Philadelphia, Waymart Area Authority, Lititz Sewer Authority, and Exeter Township, has played a role in establishing Entech as a major provider of reasonable, practical design solutions.
