Envantage Super GC is a High Pressure Reservoir Liquid/Gas Analyzer that consists of two sub-systems which operate simultaneously to provide compositional analysis of single phase fluids, as well as dewpoint and lean gases, at pressures to 5000 psi, from N2 to C44. There is no need for differential liberation prior to compositional analysis.

The ASTM D8071 PIONA+ Analyzer determines bulk concentrations of the hydrocarbon classes of paraffins, isoparaffins, olefins, naphthenes, and aromatics (PIONA), and speciates hydrocarbons up to C6 along with oxygenates and BTEX compounds. The official name of the method is: “Standard Test Method for the Determination of Hydrocarbon Group Types and Select Hydrocarbon and Oxygenate Compounds in Automotive Spark-Ignition Engine Fuel using Gas Chromatography with Vacuum Ultraviolet Absorption Spectroscopy Detection (GC-VUV)”. The analysis uses a GC equipped with VUV Analytics signature VUV detector, a single 30 meter column, and can be done in 34 minutes.

The Selerity Series 4000 Supercritical Fluid Chromatograph is rugged, reliable, reproducible, and easy to use. Because it uses carbon dioxide as the main mobile phase supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) is recognized as a “green” technology. SFC applications have environmental and cost advantages compared to applications that require solvent mobile phases (HPLC) or helium (GC).

This analyzer provides group-type determination of total aromatic hydrocarbons and total aromatics in additive-free lube basestocks (heavy paraffinic petroleum distillates) using HPLC with Refractive Index Detection (RI) . The analyzer meets the precision and quality control specifications established in the ASTM D7419-13 Standard Test Method.
