Envent has safely degassed more pipelines than any other company in the world – and we continue to build on our record of accomplishment. We use thermal oxidizers, thermal combustion units, activated carbon scrubbers and liquid scrubbers to destruct vapors and associated odors from pipelines of every description – from long-haul transmission lines, to refinery pipelines carrying chemical products.

Envent is a degassing specialist with the largest and newest fleet of equipment in the industry, including complex recirculating systems and passive scrubbers and thermal oxidizers for tank, vessel and pipeline degassing in refineries, chemical plants, pipeline stations and bulk storage terminals as well as oil fields.  

Barge & Ship Degassing: For Cleaning, Product Change or Maintenance; Degassing of barges and ships are similar to tanks on land in that they contain VOCs that require control and destruction pursuant to local and federal Clean Air Act regulations. Envent’s marine vapor control systems meet the stringent requirements of the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Envent combines the best of both worlds: an abiding commitment to safety and a high-efficiency fleet that is quickly mobilized and USCG Certified. This allows our team to deploy the quickest possible degassing solution so that your dock side down time is minimized. Dockside degassing is a highly regulated job – and Envent’s experienced operators know exactly how to safely handle these assignments. Additionally, Envent holds permits and certifications in most major air districts and impacted states

We designed our Envent Mobile Thermal Oxidation System (EMTOS) to be the safest, fastest and most effective means of degassing large storage tanks. EMTOS meets the 1,400 °F threshold set by the Environmental Protection Agency for vapor destruction efficiencies of 99+%.  Third-party tests confirm our performance, and we document every job with continuous temperature chart recorders and data collected by flame ionization detectors, photo ionization detectors and flow meters. Our commitment to thorough documentation guarantees that Envent will meet all regulatory requirements!
