Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) bleach is used in an array of industrial, institutional, and household applications and is generally considered the `gold standard` to which all new sanitizers and disinfectants are compared. However, for all of its versatile and positive attributes, sodium hypochlorite has a major drawback in that it leaves behind roughly two pounds of sodium chloride salt for every gallon of 12.5% bleach used. Sodium ions have no beneficial qualities when added to either land or water masses. In soil, excess sodium ions can cause soil sodicity and make soil less water-permeable.

PERASAN A is a peracetic acid (PAA) antimicrobial formulation that cleans, sanitizes, and disinfects. Its unique microbiocide properties work against a wide range of microorganisms in cold or warm water. PERASAN A can be used as an industrial sanitizer and disinfectant for previously cleaned hard, non-porous contact surfaces in dairies, wineries, breweries, food and beverage plants, poultry and egg facilities, and animal housing. And it can be applied in a fogger for high-level microbial control. Its food-grade qualification makes PERASAN A an excellent option for CIP pipeline cleaning, sanitizing, bottle and filler sanitizing, and disinfection in the dairy, food, and beverage processing industry. It can remove biofilm on membranes used for ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis.

Peragreen® 5.6% is a peracetic acid (PAA) based microbiocide developed for bacteria, slime, mildew, odor, fungal, and algae control in agricultural waters. With an equilibrium mixture of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, proprietary ingredients, including water, Peragreen® 5.6% formula is approved for organic and non-organic crops. Peragreen® 5.6% may be used as a direct soil & seed treatment, as a pre-plant application during seeding or transplanting, and as a periodic soil treatment up to the day of harvest.

A mixture of 5% peracetic acid and 22.5% hydrogen peroxide, Perasan® C-5 is known to be a cost-effective sanitizer/disinfectant in food & beverage applications.

BioSide™ HS 15% is a versatile peracetic acid (PAA) based microbiocide developed for equipment sanitizing, disinfection, aseptic packaging, and bacteria, fungi, slime, and odor control. Reflex™ belongs to a new generation of acid sanitizers formulated for the food, beverage, and dairy industries. It’s a no-rinse acid sanitizer for CIP and COP pipeline, silo, tank, and equipment cleaning and sanitizing processes that helps conserve water. Reflex™ is a phosphate-free peracetic acid and nitric acid-based microbiocide developed for food, dairy, and beverage processing and filtration equipment. With regular use, Reflex™ will prevent the formation of milkstone, beerstone, and limescale deposits. It is primarily used on stainless steel and plastic materials.

BromMax® 7.1 is an EPA registered biocide (#63838-5), that is an effective agent for controlling algae and bacterial slime in condensing and cooling equipment in which recirculating water is used as the cooling media in reservoirs or ponds. In addition, BromMax is very efficient in controlling algae and bacterial slime in decorative fountains, air washers, papermill influent water systems, and food, beverage, and industrial process pasteurizers. Plus, BromMax can be used to treat water in primary or secondary recovery systems to control the growth of sulfate-reducing bacteria as well as aerobic slime-forming bacteria.
