FlowTrace Test Method

Enviro Trace Ltd. has developed our unique FlowTrace test using quantifiable tagging agents (QTA`s) with properties that allow us to detect leaks very quickly. We are able to complete our test in a short period of time, usually requiring only one visit to site. The QTA is introduced into the underground tank under a slight positive pressure. Soil vapour samples are taken from riser wells installed around the tank. These samples are then tested in our lab for the presence of the specific QTA. Any detection of the QTA outside of the tank is indicative of a leak.

Remote Monitoring Services

Our stand-alone system can monitor underground and aboveground storage tanks for product level, system pressure, interstitial pressure, and temperatures. Multiple alarm functions can be programmed into the system and can be configured to send emails to numerous individuals should an alarm occur. This system enables you to monitor production at remote sites that have no SCADA installed or sites that have restricted or limited access. It can reduce the number of trips an operator has to make to a site, directly lowering operating costs, especially for fly-in sites. This system can be installed on third party sites as a means of monitoring production and performance and for protecting inventory. The system operates on battery power with a solar panel charging system; it uses satellite or cell communications to upload data.

Infrared Leak DetectIon Service

Enviro Trace can now offer a unique service to safely and efficiently identify stray gas emissions over a wide range of Oil and Gas facilities. Enviro Trace utilizes the GasFindIR infrared camera manufactured by Flir Systems, the world’s largest infrared camera producer. IR scanning is fast and efficient; quickly scan piping within a plant. Scan thousands of items in a day. Eliminate labour intensive soap bubble or gas sniffer testing in difficult to reach or hazardous areas. The video image helps to identify the precise component that is leaking saving time and maintenance costs. Enviro Trace can scan your plant to verify compliance with Directive 60. We can scan your facility, tag any leaks, and then supply you with the video of all leaking components allowing you to perform a risk assessment to determine what action is required. Once maintenance has been completed we can quickly re-scan to confirm that repairs have been completed.
