Wet Scrubbers

MicroMist - Wet Scrubber Technology

State of the art Advanced Wet Scrubber Technology. A true all-in-one pollution control device, the patented MicroMist Scrubber is an advanced wet scrubber technology developed and applied by experienced process engineers. The MicroMist Scrubber removes submicron particulates, condensables including trace metals, and soluble gases while reducing liquid effluent waste streams. We can eliminate the need for multiple pollution control devices such as a dry ESP followed by a wet scrubber for acid gases.

MicroMist - Marine Scrubber

Scalable Scrubber Solutions Designed for Each Different Class of Vessel. MicroMist Marine is a new family of technologically-advanced, lower cost ship scrubber systems. We offer scalable scrubber solutions that are designed for each different class of vessel, while maintaining the same underlying patented scrubber technology pioneered by EnviroCare over the last 30 years. EnviroCare is the scrubber expert, addressing market requirements. Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS) are our specialty. Applying a customized approach to configuring the scrubbers, we create economical designs that address all potential maritime environmental regulations. While current regulations mainly focus on NOx and SO2, MicroMist Marine Scrubbers can also address particulate matter, acid mist, and visible plumes. Our scrubbers are compatible with all other shipboard systems, and include built in automation hookups for plug and play operational monitoring.

VenturiPak - Compact All-in-One Wet Scrubbers

Compact All-in-One Advanced Scrubber Technology to Provide MACT 129 Compliance. The VenturiPak Scrubber is a result of re-examining and optimizing the Venturi concept to achieve high collection efficiency at modest energy consumption (i.e. low to medium pressure drop). We can meet existing and new source MHF and FBI limits set forth under 40 CFR Part 60 Subpart MMMM and Subpart LLLL.

EnviroCare MercuryPak - Mercury Scrubber

EnviroCare MercuryPak Scrubbers Meet the World’s Most Stringent Mercury Regulations. EnviroCare and W.L. Gore partner to serve the municipal Sewage Sludge Incineration (SSI) market. In 2011, new US EPA regulations were promulgated to reduce emissions from sewage sludge incinerators under section 129 of the Clean Air Act. Because of this action, new SSI mercury emission limits have been enforced since 2016. EnviroCare International (ECI) has designed, fabricated, and tested scrubbers using Sorbent Polymer Composite (SPC) mercury removal materials invented and manufactured by W.L. Gore.

Evaporative Gas Systems

MicroMist - Model EGC - Evaporative Gas Conditioning

Evaporative Gas Conditioning (EGC) is a technique for conditioning flue gas prior to electrostatic precipitators or fabric filters to reduce gas volume, lower the temperature, and improve particulate collection. Finely atomized water is evaporated in the gas stream to lower its temperature and raise the moisture content.

MicroMist - In Duct Humidification Nozzles

A wide range of spray nozzles designed to operate at low liquid flow rates to provide excellent results. EnviroCare has a wide range of spray nozzles designed to operate at low liquid flow rates to provide excellent results in both in-duct humidification control applications. Whether conditioning gas prior to an ESP or humidifying gas to increase the reactivity of dry lime injection, we have a solution that will achieve the desired results. Our proprietary MicroMist nozzles are installed in arrays of multiple nozzle lances allowing us to cover the entire cross section of a duct. When combined with our valve rack/pump set equipped with either a PLC or our proprietary control logic programmed into a customer’s DCS, we can control the outlet temperature and humidity of the gas to a desired setpoint.

MicroMist - Model ML - Micro-Fine Lime Semi-Dry Injection System

Proven Process Advancements for Abatement of Reactive Plumes and Reduction of SO2. The MicroMist ML micro-fine lime semi-dry injection system is a proven, cost-effective SO2 removal and reactive plume abatement technology. The patented MicroMist ML system, has been shown to reduce SO2 by more than 90 percent while eliminating the secondary plume resulting from the condensation and reaction of chemicals in the gas stream after leaving the stack.

EnviroCare - Model ESP - High Velocity Advanced Wet Electrostatic Precipitator Module

EnviroCare has developed a compact, high velocity advanced wet electrostatic precipitator module that can be integrated into the shell of the MicroMist Scrubber. Some states in the eastern United States are requiring a wet electrostatic precipitator (wet ESP) final cleanup device on wet scrubbers as BACT. The EnviroCare MicroMist Scrubber will usually meet the emission limits by itself, making a follow-up wet ESP smaller than those sized for other scrubbers. Our Wet ESP technology was developed by EnviroCare’s highly experienced staff of engineers. EnviroCare holds US Patent #4,194,888 for this unique and highly effective technology.

Saracco - Scum Concentrators for Wastewater Treatment Processes System

EnviroCare’s Saracco Scum Concentrator is designed to enhance wastewater treatment processes and reduce scum handling, disposal and hauling costs. Saracco Scum Concentrators assure better BOD5 and SS capture, more efficient digester utilization and less costly incinerator operation. Drier scum concentrations slash hauling costs, too. Water removed in the process doesn’t have to be hauled away. Moreover, regulations prevent dumping dilute scum. Units are pre-engineered for ease of installation and easily fit into virtually any wastewater treatment flow sheet.
