EnviroFALK - Ion Exchange Cartridges

Water, which is often treated using ion exchangers, is a decisive quality criterion in your cleaning, rinsing and disinfection processes. Healthcare providers with high expectations as well as industrial customers with cost-intensive manufacturing processes call for high-quality treated water. Special resins inside the ion exchange cartridges reliably ensure fully or partially demineralised fresh water and process water.

EnviroFALK - Separate Bed Ion Exchange Units

EnviroFALK offers separate bed ion exchange units to cater for high peaks in demand for DI water. Individually planned, manufactured and optimised to suit the specific area of application. As a technology for complete water demineralisation, ion exchange can be used either in the form of a cation exchanger or an anion exchanger, with the different ion exchange resins being located in two different tanks (separate-bed systems). The cation and anion exchangers are regenerated on site and, if requested by the customer, automatically.

EnviroFALK - Decarbonisation Units

Decarbonisation units remove hydrogen carbonates of calcium and magnesium (also called carbonate hardness, carbonate alkalinity, and temporary hardness) dissolved in the water.

EnviroFALK - Electrodeionisation (EDI) Systems

Electrodeionisation is often used downstream of a reverse osmosis unit. This process “refines” the partially demineralised water,  in order to ensure very low electrical conductivity and low levels of silicic acid. This process is also referred to as polishing.

EnviroFALK - Water Softening Units

Hard water causing damage? Water softeners can come to the rescue! Water hardness can cause problems for many industrial production processes. If you don’t have a water softener, hard water causes limescale deposits, clogged pipes and, in the worst case, can even lead to completely blocked pipes. A water softener converts hard water into soft water.

EnviroFALK - Reverse Osmosis Units

EnviroFALK reverse osmosis units use a membrane process that removes particulate matter from the water as well as the ions in it. Reverse osmosis units are primarily used to make demineralised water. Thanks to the use of membrane modules, a reverse osmosis unit does not require any regeneration chemicals.

Microfiltration: for the separation of particles and colloidal suspensions.

EnviroFALK - Nanofiltration Units

Nanofiltration: for retention of ions, molecules and particulates. Nanofiltration systems are used for partial softening and reduction of turbidity and discolouration of surface water. The term nanofiltration refers to the filter`s retention capability, which is approx. one nanometer.

EnviroFALK - Ultrafiltration Units

Ultrafiltration: for retention of finest particles. Ultrafiltration serves as the ideal pretreatment method for downstream membrane processes such as reverse osmosis or electrodeionisation (EDI) if no tap water is available.

EnviroFALK - Electrolyte Preparation Ultrafiltration Units

Pure water for compliance with cleanliness requirements. Electrochemical metal machining (ECM) is often used for materials that are difficult to machine, for complicated shapes or workpieces, especially for high-quality components such as turbine blades, injection nozzles, injection moulds or medical implants.
