ENVIRO PIPE AT GUARD ENDS Manatee Gates are manufactured by Environmental Composites, Inc. as specified in FL DOT Design Standards Index 280. These products are available painted or galvanized in the sizes specified.

Sometimes topography, drainage conditions and population densities determine that underground reservoirs or control structures will incorporate a fixed corrugated aluminum baffle or Fiberglass “CFM” Channel Face Mount skimmer with top. Both products contain floatables in the control structure while preventing oil and grease from being transmitted down stream into french drains and thereby contaminating the soil.

High flow thru Enviro Composite GratesTM have been developed by ECI to satisfy the need for economical, strong, light weight, long life, corrosion resistant grating for non-traffic FDOT stormwater control structures. Types C, D, E & H are also available in Riveted and Welded Steel Grating in both painted and galvanized.

ECI manufactures Mitered End Section (MES) galvanized steel pipe grates for round or elliptical concrete (RCP) and corrugated metal (CMP) mitered drainage pipes as specified in FL DOT Design Standards Index 273. Rebar frames are also available. The standard lead time for MES pipe grates is 2 - 3 weeks.
