ERS, a DEQ Licensed Contractor, is able to provide a wide range of emergency services.  We are available 24 hours per day to service immediate needs ranging from small fuel spills to intense, multi-faceted, catastrophic incidents.  Our emergency response teams consist of  highly experienced, trained professionals who endeavor to provide solutions during extreme situations.   From performing general site activities to collaboration with regulatory agencies, our client commitment includes the reduction of liabilities with regards to safety for all parties involved.

ERS has responded to and performed oil spill cleanup services ranging from a 5 barrel release on land to over 5000 barrels released into major waterways.  Our oil response teams focus on initial containment knowing that prevention of oil spill migration is the key factor to reduce environmental impact and subsequent cleanup costs.  Additional teams are utilized to perform product recovery with the goal to recover product for reuse or recycling, if possible. Cleanup measures are then performed to meet regulatory requirements, satisfy property owners, and reduce real or potential environmental liabilities.

ERS provides a complete line of vacuum services with multiple units available.  Capabilities include the handling of wet and / or dry materials, vacuuming long vertical lifts, performing extended horizontal runs, pumping of elevated temperature products, and the transfer of thick, non-viscous sludges.  Included within our fleet of vacuum equipment are vacuum boxes, open-top containers, King Vacs (liquid ring pump), product transfer pumps for liquids, pneumatic transfer units (grain, feeds, etc.), rotary vane vacuum trucks and transports.  ERS is able to provide related services including spill cleanup, site remediation, industrial cleaning, line jetting, confined space entry, tank cleanout services, and waste transportation and disposal.

ERS has removed hundreds of underground storage tanks (UST`s)  in the past 20 years.  Our management staff and team has successfully assisted our clients to obtain closure on former gasoline stations, fueling terminals, and abandoned sites.Whether a location has one, 550 gallon capacity tank utilized for waste oil or a facility containing multiple 50,000 gallon capacity tanks, ERS has the capabilities and expertise to manage and execute a project from inception, initial investigation, during the actual removal, through various remedial phases (if applicable), obtaining site closure, and on to site restoration.
