SEVIEW transport and fate modeling software
Our SEVIEW modeling software has been used by numerous state regulatory agencies to develop baseline cleanup objectives. To ensure adequate protection of groundwater quality their default cleanup objectives are based on the worst-case scenario. Application of such conservative cleanup concentrations may result in costly remedial actions that may not be warranted. Environmental consultants can use SEVIEW to develop site-specific soil impact to groundwater remediation standards. At most sites this will result in higher cleanup concentrations while maintaining protection of groundwater quality. At other sites it may indicate that a threat to groundwater quality exists.
