The EPA’s Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) regulations require certain types of industrial and commercial facilities to have a plan to anticipate and recover from spills. Any plan that calls for the secure storage of large quantities of water should incorporate tear and abrasion-resistant liners from ESI.

The industrial division at ESI was created to serve a specialized sector of the plastics industry. Our industrial crews supply and install HDPE pipe and containment liner systems at facilities within the industrial market such as petrochemical plants; refineries; municipal facilities; power plants; pulp & paper mills; and numerous other clients who benefit from the chemical resistance and longevity offered by utilizing plastic in their containment systems.

Our systems are particularly useful for leachate reduction in landfills for active and non-active cells as well as gas migration and odor control. ESI is also capable of supplying and installing HDPE gas extraction systems and gas extraction wells used in landfill methane gas recovery systems. These systems are used to recover methane gas from aging landfills for odor control and/or gas energy plant applications.
