Model No. APM 460BL - Community Air Quality

Envirotech introduced the APM 451 Respirable Dust Sampler based on CSIR NEERI knowhow. The system was upgraded to APM 460 in 1997. The APM 460 sampler uses an improved cyclone with sharper cutoff (D50 at 10 microns) to separate the coarser particulates from the air stream before filtering it on the glass microfibre filter. By using the APM 460, measurement of Respirable Particulate Matter can be done accurately and TSPM can also be assessed by collection of dust retained in the cyclone cup.

Model No. APM 550 - PM2.5 / Samplers APM 550

Recent studies sponsored by USEPA have concluded that Fine Particles, (PM2.5) which penetrate deep into the lungs, are more likely to contribute to health effects. Fine Particulate Matter (FPM) also adversely affects visibility. In keeping with Envirotech’s tradition of anticipating the need and pioneering development of suitable indigenous instruments the APM 550 Fine Particle Sampler has been developed. The APM 550 system is a manual method for sampling fine particles (PM2.5 fraction) and is based on impactor designs standardized by USEPA for ambient air quality monitoring.

Model No. WM271 - Meteorological Parameters

Reliable information of wind movements is a critical requirement for air quality management. Polluting gases and particulates released from elevated industrial stacks disperse by a variety of mechanisms and by the time the pollutants reach ground level their concentration is reduced to a fraction of the emitted level. The extent of dispersion and the resultant ground level concentration (GLC) depends upon local meteorological parameters like wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric turbulence or stability and the mixing height. Reliable local wind data can also help to identify possible sources that could be adversely affecting air quality in an area.

Model No. APM 411 - Gaseous Sampling Attachments

The Respirable Dust Sampler is essentially a particulate sampling system requiring a high flow-rate. Gaseous sampling requires only a few LPM of air flow. All models of Envirotech Respirable Dust Samplers are provided with a suction port and mounting hardware to facilitate interface of the Gaseous Sampling Attachment APM 411.

Sulphur Dioxide Analyzer

U.S.EPA Reference Method Designation EQSA-0193-092. The EC 9850B Sulphur Dioxide Analyser combines the benefits of microprocessor control with the fluorescence measurement principle for accurate and reliable measurement of sulphur.

Integrating Sound Level Meter

The SLM100 Sound Level Meter has been designed for ease in field operation. All features considered essential for field surveys have been included. The SLM100 is a “Type 2” Integrating Sound Level Meter designed to meet the requirements of IS 15575 (Part1) 2005. The instrument has a frequency weighting of“A” type and allows the user to select Slow or Fast mode of measurement.

Model No. APM 520 - Soap Film Calibrator

The Envirotech APM 520 Flow Calibrator is designed to provide a reliable and portable flow standard for flow verification of environmental sampling systems. The APM 520 is a primary standard flow calibrator based on a glass body soap bubble meter. Photo-optics based sensing and quartz crystal clock is utilized to provide an automatic and accurate estimate of elapsed time for the soap bubble motion through a fixed volume. Each APM 520 calibrator is tested against positive displacement flow standards traceable to NIST or FCRI, maintained at Envirotech. Optionally third party certification of individual calibrators can be provided at an extra cost.

Model No. APM 856 - Organic Vapor Sampler APM 856

Recent addition of Benzene in petrol, in place of a lead compound, has made Benzene and its derivatives a part of vehicular pollution. Already Benzene concentrations in high traffic areas and near petrol pumps have become a matter of concern. Unfortunately a majority of these compounds are highly toxic and many have been reported to be carcinogenic. Organic compounds are also reported to be pre-cursers for Ozone formation and play a role in secondary formation of oxidants. As such air pollution monitoring networks are now beginning intensive efforts for monitoring of specific organic compounds such as Benzene, Toluene & Xylene and often a mixture of Total Non Methane Hydrocarbons.

Model No. APM 800 - Shop Floor Air Quality

This instrument has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Factories Act 1948 ( amended in 1987/88 ) which provides for a regular monitoring of work-space environment and of exposure of workmen to harmful pollutants and toxic materials.
