The environment of pond changes rapidly in Intensive Aquaculture practices due to the accumulation of huge volumes of organic waste in the pond bottom. This waste in the bottom of ponds accumulates due to pollutants like dead plankton, faecal matter, and uneaten feeds frequently in culture ponds and forms Sludge. This sludge later generates toxic gases like NH3, NO2, H2 S and depletes DO concentration of ponds leading to the death of fish or prawn. Sludge-magic is a combined probiotic of aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms developed for biological degradation of the organic waste present at the pond bottom and improves D.O levels.
