Flood Risk Assessment Service

Enzygo’s proven Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) system provides professional, commercially driven FRA assessments to NPPF, TAN15, SPP7 and Irish Council Guidelines. We operate nationwide and our staff have worked within every region of the UK providing comprehensive commercially driven FRA reports for residential and commercial developments, industrial applications including minerals and waste. A Flood Risk Assessment is a requirement for all planning applications in all developments over 1 Ha in size. The assessment can simply be to manage surface water sustainably or to understand how the development proposal would be affected by flooding.

Flood Risk Modelling Service

Our flood modelling skills focus around providing commercially driven solutions to flood problems. We can produce 1D and 2D flood models of fluvial, tidal, pluvial and combined flooding scenarios. Our staff have modelled some of the most complex interactions within the UK and Europe. Enzygo has a wide range of flood modelling tools, products and services, which are used as industry standards within the UK and Ireland. Our 2D and 1D modelling skills are commonly used by our clients to optimise their risk management and investment strategies in urbanised or areas of flood risk.

Drainage Assessment Service

Designing SUDS schemes and undertaking utilities assessments are a necessary aspect of planning applications. Enzygo has proven methods for creating Surface Water Management Plans, SUDS schemes and Utilities Assessments in order to obtain planning permission for a variety of developments. Environmental Regulators have increased their requirement for Drainage Assessments as part of a comprehensive planning application. All sites greater than 1 Hectare require a form of drainage assessment. More commonly we are seeing our clients request Utilities Assessments where the Water Plc has raised an objection to development due to insufficient capacity within the sewerage network.
