EOS - Advanced Particle Analysis Platform

Classizer™ ONE represents a state-of-the-art particle analysis platform utilizing patented SPES and SPES² methods to perform multiparametric analysis, classification, and counting of particle mixtures. It is engineered for applications in research, custom particle formulations, dispersion formulation, and quality control across diverse sectors including life sciences, cosmetics, cosmeceuticals, pigments, inks, cements, abrasives, agrochemicals, and environmental sciences. The system quickly analyzes particle mixtures in both simple and heterogeneous liquids by dispersing or diluting a small sample aliquot in a filtered solvent, which is then passed through the device at a constant flow. Thanks to the patented SPES optical schemes, Classizer™ ONE provides detailed EOS CLOUDS data of the sample within minutes. Its robust design features custom electronics and industrial-grade components ensuring durability, reliability, and precision. It covers a dynamic range of 0.1 – 20 μm and a concentration range of 1E4-1E7 particles/mL, and it operates with laminar constant flows from 0.2 to 4 mL/min, managing viscosities up to 10cS. The device includes chemically-compatible materials such as Quartz, BK7, PTFE, PCTFE, FEP, FFKM, PEEK, and Stainless Steel for wetted surfaces and couplings. Moreover, tailored hardware solutions can be developed based on specific user requirements. The Classizer™ ONE can be paired with standard syringe pumps or high-quality peristaltic pumps for regular R&D activities and can integrate with EOS's automatic sample managers and autosamplers to enhance measurement throughput and reliability in formulation and quality control processes. Technical specifics vary by model, configuration, and sample preparation.

Accessories & Managers

EOS - Standard Liquid Sample Manager

The EOS Standard Liquid Sample Manager (LMS™) is engineered to enhance the operation of the Classizer™ ONE by maintaining stable and repeatable conditions during liquid sample analysis. The LMS™ minimizes operator-dependent variability that is often associated with conventional external pumps, and its compact design efficiently utilizes benchtop space. It integrates a durable syringe pump, customizable PTFE/borosilicate syringe, and features 4-way and 3-way valves for effective waste and cleaning management. The system is particularly suitable for applications necessitating fast and standardized procedures, precise handling of pre-diluted samples, and convenient integration without the hassle of finding compatible external pumps. Configurations and technical specifications can vary depending on the system model and specific application requirements, including sample type and preparation methods.

EOS - Liquid Autosampler

The EOS LAS™ is an autosampler compatible with the Classizer™ ONE and is designed to be used with liquid sample managers LMS™, LMA™, and LAD™. Its primary attributes include user-friendly installation and operation, with settings and sample processing manageable through the Classizer™ ONE software. The sample dish moves in such a manner that aligns the arm with the cannula for sample processing. Samples can be stirred using a magnetic stirrer to prevent particle settling before aspiration. The cannula is inserted to a programmable depth, where the sample is aspirated and transported to the Classizer™ ONE via LMS™, LMA™, or LAD™ through an inert transfer line. This system aims to increase sample throughput, standardize operations, and minimize human errors and time costs. Technical details and specifications may vary based on the system model, configuration, and sample preparation requirements.

EOS - Liquid Autosampler SP

The LAD™ Liquid Autosampler SP is a specialized single-point autosampler designed to be compatible with the Classizer™ ONE and LMS™/LMA™ liquid sample managers. This device samples small aliquots of liquid at fixed intervals from a specified point in a vial or beaker to assess the stability, aging, and settling behavior of particles over time. Equipped with an integrated sample dilution system, the LAD™ handles the dilution of concentrated aliquots and features a cleaning system to maintain operational efficiency. This autosampler is ideal for applications requiring the study of sample aging or settling at specific time points, enabling standardized operations while reducing human error and time costs. The technical specifications and operational details can vary depending on the system model, configuration, sample type, and preparation method.
