Water and Environment

Eptisa offers engineering services from preparation of the project plan, to execution, technical assistance to works and operation of the hydraulic infrastructure in both Spain and the international market. We are working with the public administration to improve wastewater treatment and guarantee its supply to the public.We participate in the most important hydrological plans both in Spain and abroad, offering consulting, engineering services, technical assistance, studies and planning support, always using the latest technology.Eptisa takes part in the development and improvement of these infrastructures, working with town councils and municipal water supply utilities on both their development and preliminary design and on their construction or supervision to improve urban service management.

Development Cooperation

The areas of activity are social, urban and rural development, regional and local economic development, environment and sustainability, water and sanitation, public policy and governability.Eptisa"s main activities run from technical assistance to international cooperation projects, programmes and policies to the performance of studies and workshops related to training issues.The main geographical zones where this activity is carried out are Latin America, the Mediterranean and the sub-Saharan countries.The international issues play a vital role for us because of the different levels of development, cultures and prospective evolution. Eptisa knows that is not always easy to export the national experience and using particular approaches while facing other realities is required.In Eptisa, we put effort into generating the specific culture of regionally differentiated "development" allowing us to implement better adapted strategies, which in practice means a specific philosophy of action.

Instrumentation and monitoring

Eptisa is a specialist in the integration of Turnkey control systems, adding the latest technology, offering services from project design to manufacture, supply, commissioning and maintenance. In Infrastructures we are specialists in civil engineering and urban works control systems in geotechnical applications. We have worked on auscultation and monitoring of the most important tunnels, slopes and embankments in civil engineering, especially for railways.In urban works, we offer auscultation services for metropolitan tunnels, sewers and drains in cities like Madrid, for example, for the covering of the high-speed railway line between the subway stations of Atocha and Chamartín. We also offer control systems for screened zones and monitoring of affected areas. In dynamic test systems, we have control systems for load tests on structures and foundations, as well as auscultation and monitoring of structures and buildings during rehabilitation.
