ESC - Data Controllers
The ESC Spectrum 8864 Data Controller is a sophisticated, powerful hardware bridge between StackVision software and your emissions monitoring rack. This industry leading CEMS data controller provides reliable, robust data collection, computation and storage capabilities. This hard-working device accurately and securely acquires, stores and protects your CEMS data from communications failures within your DAS system.
Data Acquisition System for CEMS (CEMS DAS)
CEMDAS Evolution offers the most powerful and easy-to-use Data Acquisition System (CEMS DAS) on the market today. Its advanced design is programmed in Visual Basic.net, utilizes a powerful SQL database and runs in the latest Windows operating system. CEMDAS can also be added to any Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS).
MONSOL - Flow Monitoring System
CEMFlowTM S-Type pitot tube Compliance Stack Flow Monitoring systems offer the ultimate in reliability and maintainability for measuring gas flow in a stack or duct. Pitot tube gas flow monitoring systems offer the lowest installation and maintenance costs of any flow system on the market today.
Spare Parts
Spectrum Systems maintains an extensive inventory of spare parts, representing a wide range of Original Equipment Manufacturers. Analyzers, probes, pumps, coolers, PMT`s, specialty gaskets, sample conditioners, filters, and other ancillary equipment are available. Spectrum maintains a substantial used parts inventory of obsolete and hard to get items in addition to third party solutions proven to increase uptime over original designed components. When the need arises, in stock items can be shipped same day with overnight service or drop shipped from the factory. Please email or call today with your spare parts needs.
CEMS Analyzers
Monitoring Solutions is proud to offer a complete line of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) Analyzers for upgrades and replacements. For both dilution and extraction systems, we offer analyzers for the most common CEMS gases including NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, O2, THC, NH3, and more.
Systems
Compliance Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) for compliance with EPA and State regulations demands an intimate knowledge of the process, monitoring and ancillary hardware, control system, and reporting software requirements. No CEMS integrator builds a higher quality system than Spectrum Systems. Experts in dilution, extractive, in-situ, and hybrid CEMS for over 35 years, Spectrum`s staff brings a wealth of experience to the design table to assist customers in meeting their monitoring needs.
Process Control CEMS
Process Monitoring Systems bring unique challenges as monitoring locations can be located upstream of control devices in stratified and heavy particulate laden gas streams. Monitoring approaches specifically tailored to meet these challenges must be designed into the system from the outset. Integration of real time monitoring data into the process control system typically requires inclusion of PLC interfaces in the design. Spectrum Systems experienced staff understands these challenges.
Mobile Testing Systems
Mobile Testing Systems, operated by stack testers and process optimization teams, present design challenges which are better understood and addressed by a system integrator with employees actively engaged in testing activities. This unique insight allows for a streamlined design of both fully automated or manual systems best suited for the application and environment the test teams will encounter.

MONSOL - Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems
A Dilution CEMS offers the lowest maintenance of any CEMS by it`s elimination of sample conditioners and pumps. Compressed air is used to `power` the Dilution CEMS. It is sent up the stack where it is mixed with the stack gas at a 100:1 ratio (typ.). The sample is then pushed down to the analyzers. Besides the stack gas being diluted, the moisture in the stack is also diluted allowing the sample to be measured directly in the analyzers without causing any harm.
MONSOL - Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems
Extraction CEMS are the most commonly used CEMS today. They are accurate and reliable to very low pollutant levels (single digit ppm). Today`s Extraction CEMS are built to run 24/7, 365 days a year. Given the right stack conditions, they are easy to operate and maintain.
