In early days ESE already introduced its sustainability policy and usage of high-quality recycling material for the manufacturing of containers. We have now collected and recycled over four million old containers. This means that today we already fulfil the objectives of the future European Waste Framework Directive. This has enabled us to become the leading supplier on the market for organised collections. Our range of services for taking back containers includes planning, distribution of user information along with organising smooth and efficient implementation. During this procedure, we can also use our mobile recycling units which process old containers into granulated material directly on site in an environmentally-friendly manner.

The distribution and allocation of containers to customers today is fundamentally different from what happened in the past. ESE uses the latest web-based IT technology. We can therefore make the IT process simple, and we provide the most up-to-date distribution data. Our container management software is supplemented by the latest handheld scanners. Besides recording barcodes and identity numbers they can also record the geographical co-ordinates of the container locations. This valuable addition substantially increases customer satisfaction, as it ensures that from the beginning all containers deployed can be found on the emptying date.
