Estia Consulting & Engineering SA owns a cup anemometer calibration laboratory. The laboratory is accredited according to ISO17025:2005. It is fully equipped and performs calibrations for all types of cup anemometers. The calibrations are conducted in the closed test section wind tunnel which has been constructed by the company. The calibration speed ranges between 4m/s and 16m/s. The reference air speed is measured using Pitot tubes, resulting in high accuracy and low uncertainty of the results. The calibration and return of the instruments to their owner is typically completed in 2-3 days from their delivery day.

Purpose of the laboratory  is to provide accredited services for sampling and measurements in conjunction with analytical laboratories abroad, according to standard EN 17025:2005. E.M.L. follows ISO or CEN international standards by using mobile equipment.
