UV Lamps

ETA - Medium Pressure UV Lamps

The key to your success lies in eta plus` lamp engineering and manufacturing know-how. With our technical expertise in lamp development and manufacturing, we work in close cooperation with you to find the best technical solution for your UV application. Our in-house lamp manufacturing is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. The quality oriented process and our highly motivated team ensures highest quality standards available on the market.

ETA - Medium-Pressure Mercury Lamps

In medium-pressure mercury lamps, a plasma that emits UV light is generated by applying electrical voltage. Unlike most other UV sources, the medium-pressure lamp (MPL) has a polychromatic spectral distribution from 190 nm up to the infrared spectrum. The distribution of energy over the wavelength ranges is depicted on the left.

ETA - UVC Spectrum Emitting Non-Doped Mercury Lamps for Disinfection

The values shown are averages, they vary depending on operating conditions and lamp fillings. Non-doped medium-pressure mercury lamps mainly emit in the UVC spectrum. They are ideal for disinfection purposes or graphic applications.

Control Cabinets

ETA - Electronic Ballast Compatible Control Cabinets for UV System Energy Supply

In addition to our ELC, we develop complete control cabinet solutions for the energy supply of your UV system. The control cabinets of the ELCC series are designed in a way that the advantages of the high power densities and simple control are optimally transferred to the overall system. The ELCC series will receive certification in line with the highest Marine Standards (DNV/GL, USCG) and makes the changeover from magnetic to electronic ballast devices possible.

ETA - UV Curing

In UV curing, specially formulated inks and varnishes are dried or cured within a fraction of a second – their constituents polymerize or cross-link. UV inks consist of oligomers, monomers, photo initiators and, in contrast with conventional inks and varnishes, do not require any solvents or thinners (that evaporate or absorb slowly) for the drying process. This is one of the reasons UV technology is so environmentally friendly. UV curing systems as complete systems or components are manufactured for the areas of printing, coating, adhesion and inkjet. Our lamps and electronic ballasts are used in the systems of IST, a leading company in the UV technology sector.
