The CombiMax SMARTSolar is a versatile solar-powered waste compactor engineered by Europress, combining renewable energy with advanced waste management. Integral to its design are four 300W solar panels installed on the roof, ensuring it draws power efficiently from the sun while offering the flexibility of 1-phase mains power when required. This design allows for uninterrupted operations even during the summer months when no electricity is accessible. On sunlit days, the compactor can function for over 2.5 hours without the need for additional mains charging. Should solar energy be insufficient, backup power from standard mains electricity is available, supporting approximately 20 minutes of operation per hour. Tailored for 20 m³ containers, the compactor can be adjusted to accommodate smaller configurations with fewer solar panels.
