The CombiMax SMARTSolar is a versatile solar-powered waste compactor engineered by Europress, combining renewable energy with advanced waste management. Integral to its design are four 300W solar panels installed on the roof, ensuring it draws power efficiently from the sun while offering the flexibility of 1-phase mains power when required. This design allows for uninterrupted operations even during the summer months when no electricity is accessible. On sunlit days, the compactor can function for over 2.5 hours without the need for additional mains charging. Should solar energy be insufficient, backup power from standard mains electricity is available, supporting approximately 20 minutes of operation per hour. Tailored for 20 m³ containers, the compactor can be adjusted to accommodate smaller configurations with fewer solar panels. With a 35-tonne compaction force and 0.93 kW energy consumption per operating hour, it aligns operational efficiency with the Europress SMART Fleet Management system for better resource tracking and fleet management.Additional Modules

The CitySolar Waste Compactor is designed to revolutionize urban waste management by leveraging solar power for waste compression and management efficiency. This advanced waste solution features a self-sufficient solar-powered compression unit capable of compacting waste with a 5:1 ratio, fitting compressed materials into a standard 240-liter wheelie bin. By reducing the volume of waste to one-fifth of its original size, it minimizes the frequency of waste collection and enhances operational cost-effectiveness. The compactor includes a fill-level indicator with signal lights on the front panel and offers connectivity with the Finbin®Care cloud service. Through this platform, real-time monitoring, location tracking, and automated notifications enable streamlined management and maintenance. It enhances the sustainability of waste management logistics, making it suitable for various waste types, including mixed waste, PET & glass bottles, and ALU cans, among others.
