Treatment Technologies
Euroteck - Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC)
A process cycle ideal for small-to-medium installations comprises, screening (filtergrilles), primary sedimentation with a sludge digestion chamber (Imhoff), biological wastewater treatment with RBC and secondary sludge separation via cloth filter. In compact biocombi installations offered by MITA Biorulli, biological treatment is achieved by means of a partially submerged roller-contactor upon which forms the mass of biological slime: this is created by the growth of micro-organisms which derive their nutrients from the colloids and substances dissolved in the wastewater. MITA Biorulli biocombi series installations do not need final settling tanks; their place is taken by a cloth filter, essentially comprising a horizontal drum in perforated steel sheet covered with a special filter cloth and equipped with an appropriate removal system for the separated sludge.

Euroteck - Model A2O/AO - Advanced Activated Sludge Process Plant
The Advanced Activated Sludge Process or three-stage A2O process consists of a Modified Ludzack-Ettinger (MLE) process for nitrogen removal, with an anaerobic zone in front for phosphorus removal .The process is called A2O since it consists of anaerobic/anoxic/oxic (aerobic) tanks in series. The RAS is recycled to the anaerobic zone. The anaerobic zone is followed by an anoxic zone for nitrogen removal through de-nitrification. IR is recycled from the aerobic zone to the anoxic zone at a rate of 100 to 400 percent of influent. Nitrogen removal is limited by the IR flow and this is achieved by means of IR gates contrary to the heavy duty pumps which consumes high amount of power . This is a relatively simple process to operate. The process has a small footprint.

Euroteck - Chamber Membrane Filter-Press
The operation cycle with the filter plates clamping. The inner voids of plates are joined in the combined chamber space. When reaching a certain pressure value (which ensures the chamber space seal), the external pump feeds slurry into the filter press. This slurry gradually fills the filter press and due to the feed pump pressure , the liquid phase passes through the filter cloth and flows out of the filter press via the internal canal system. The cloth collects a layer of cake, with the thickness depending on the quality of the slurry supplied. This process takes place until the void is completely filled with the cake after which the slurry feed stops.
