EVK DI Kerschhaggl GmbH products
EVK - Smart Metal Scanners
ABAS TL is an inductive metal scanner for use in sensor-based sorting machines for detection and sorting of metals. The sensor can be mounted under a conveyer belt and delivers spatially resolved information of conductive material in the material flow. The metal scanner produces binary information that drives a corresponding I/O module and subsequently ejection units. In combination with an EVK proprietary I/O system, ABAS TL offers a complete solution to machine builders for detection and sorting of metal particles.
EVK ALPHA - Real-time Processing Platform for Spectral Imaging
EVK ALPHA G100 is a single-input embedded computing platform for classification of hyperspectral data in real-time. Together with an EVK HELIOS hyperspectral imaging core camera, the system supports up to 100 material classes for identification of material types in industrial sorting and process-monitoring applications. The system supports EVK SQALAR, a software tool for qualitative and quantitative analysis.Hyperspectral Imaging cameras
Real time chemical imaging - 0.9-1.7µm Hyperspectral Imaging System
The EVK HELIOS EQ32 is a 320-pixel hyperspectral imaging camera with an integrated classification system. It is a powerful in-line analysis system, based on non-contact and non-destructive infrared imaging spectroscopy. The camera convinces as a spatially resolved real-time measurement system with powerful data processing and high-precision signal processing for analytical, industrial applications.EVK Helios - Hyperspectral Imaging Analysis and Sorting System
EVK Helios, the smart Hyperspectral Imaging analysis and sorting systems are available in two wavelength ranges: NIR (0.9 µm – 1.7 µm) and SWIR (1.0 µm – 2.5 µm). Each wavelength range is suitable for particular sorting applications. HELIOS cameras have no moving parts and are therefore robust enough to tolerate even the most demanding industrial applications.
EVK - Hyperspectral Core Camera for Industrial Applications
The EVK HELIOS EC32 is a line-scan hyperspectral imaging core camera that identifies different materials based on their chemical compositions in a completely contactless and non-destructive way. The camera operates in the wavelength band from 930 nm to 1700 nm with a 320 pixels spatial sensor resolution. The hyperspectral core camera provides spectral provides optically corrected spectral data, allowing customers to use their specific data analysis tools or to combine it with the EVK ALPHA edge computing platform. Together they are a powerful system for in-line analysis, monitoring and sorting of industrial product streams in real-time.EVK ABAS ThinLine - Inductive Metal Sensor
EVK ABAS ThinLine - Inductive Metal Scanner for Use in Sensor-Based Sorting Machine
EVK ABAS ThinLine (TL) is an inductive metal scanner for use in sensor-based sorting machines for detection and sorting of metals. The sensor can be mounted under a conveyer belt and delivers spatially resolved information of conductive material in the material flow. EVK ABAS TL is available in standard working widths of 600mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1600mm, 1800mm, 2000mm, 2400, and 3000mm and supports most of the common working widths of sorting machines. Designed as an easy to install device, EVK ABAS TL is equipped with a standardized GigE Vision industrial interface. Output data can be fed directly into an EVK proprietary I/O system which drives actuators of the sorting system. As a result, sorting machine builders can easily integrate ABAS TL in their sorting machine lines, without the need to develop any specific interfaces to their machines.Sensor Fusion Technology
Combination of Hyperspectral Imaging and Inductive Sensors
In many industrial applications, a high performance can be achieved by combining various sensor technologies. EVK technology supports the integration of various sensor types into sorting decision algorithms. For instance, combinations of Hyperspectral cameras with arrays of induction sensors are widely used in recycling to sort valuable metals and different types of plastic (based on material type and not colour), from the recycling stream.
Combination of Hyperspectral Imaging and Color Camera System
The combination of colour and hyperspectral cameras enables more precise sorting based on material type and colour. The sorting output can, therefore, be refined to pure fractions composed of a unique product, such as Red PE plastic flakes. This adds value to the recycled product since it can be optimised to suit down-stream production processes. Please contact us for further information.
