Aerobic Wastewater Treatment

Evoqua - Aerobic Systems

Treatment process for raw wastewater or further polishing of pretreated wastewater

Evoqua - Diffused Aeration Systems

Evoqua offers a complete line of coarse and fine bubble diffused aeration systems. A complete selection of diffusers for mixing and/or delivering oxygen to wastewater or other process water applications. Evoqua’s patented Diamond™ S Plus membrane has leading oxygen transfer efficiency with it’s diamond pattern. It is used on all the 9” fine bubble diffuser models offered.

Ultraviolet

Aquafine and Trojan ultraviolet systems and solutions utilize 185 Nanometer and 254 Nanometer wavelengths for total oxidizable carbon (TOC) reduction, chlorine/chloramine destruction, ozone destruction and microbial disinfection in the following industries: Aquaculture(hatcheries and rearing facilities). Food and Beverage. Life Science (pharmaceutical, hemodialysis, biotech). Microelectronics. Recreational Water (swimming pools, spas, water parks). Marine Water (seagoing and ocean going vessels). All repair, maintenance, service and replacement parts; including UV lamps, quartz sleeves, ballasts, intensity meters and probes, monitoring stations, wipers, compression nuts, gaskets, o-rings, etc.

Deionization

Deionization systems (Ion Exchange), also known as Demineralization contain synthetic resins with reactive sites. Depending on the resin used, these sites exchange hydrogen ions for positive ions and hydroxide ions for negative ions. Depending on the quality you need we will use these separate beds, or also incorporate mixed beds which contain both cation and anion resins together to give you the highest quality and/or can further be categorized and certified as Ultrapure Water “UPW” or further to low TOC standards (80). In addition to portable exchange and on-site regenerable deionization we also offer Continuous Electrodeionionization (CEDI), a chemical free process using ion exchange resins and electricity to produce deionized water. CEDI offers low operating cost while eliminating expensive and hazardous onsite regeneration.

Reverse Osmosis

In the reverse osmosis process, the water from a liquid with a high concentration of dissolved solids is forced to flow through the membrane to the low concentration side where this water can be collected. The process is achieved by applying enough pressure to overcome the natural osmotic pressure forces on a membrane. The semi-permeable membranes used in the process are engineered to only allow the passage of the water molecule. The result is high quality water. Permanent and temporary systems, membranes, profiling & normalization, cleaning, maintenance, chemicals, temporary services. Systems sized per customer`s capacity requirements. Turnkey engineering and water treatment/purification systems where reverse osmosis works with water softening, filtration, deionization, and ultraviolet instrumentation.

Desalination

Ultrapure & Industrial Services reverse osmosis units are designed and manufactured for sea water applications. They are horizontal configurations utilizing horizontal high-rpm centrifugal pumps. They are pre-engineered, pre-assembled units that minimize installation and start-up costs. They are fully tested at the factory and require simple utility connections and with minor set up and adjustment are ready for immediate on-line service. Their simple designs maximize reliability of the Reverse Osmosis unit. Each unit is a single pass RO system mounted on a polyurethane coated structural steel frame. The RO unit includes a high pressure feed pump, FRP, side entry pressure vessels, spiral wound thin film composite RO membranes, PVC low pressure feed piping, stainless high pressure piping, PVC reject and recycle piping, PVC product piping, and a programmable logic controller.

Industrial Water Softening

Problems associated with hard water can be minimized by using a water softener. Ultrapure & Industrial can design systems to fit most applications. From single tank units up to 6 vessels. Flow rates can range from 1 gpm to as many gpm needed to meet your specification. We can also service existing equipment and retrofit the latest technology. Options include: metered systems, aqua sensor, progressive flow, and brine reclaim. Brine reclaim can be added to existing equipment to offer additional savings. Our reclaim systems utilize a portion of the brine for future regenerations. This usually allows the customer to see a 25% savings in salt and water. Brine reclaim systems are especially useful for any company looking to reduce operating costs and increase effiecency.

Lab Systems

Ultrapure is a leading provider of water treatment products and services for the laboratory market. We offer a wide range of water purification systems including central systems, pretreatment and point of use ultrapure water polishing systems. Ultrapure custom laboratory systems can provide you with reverse osmosis, UV pretreatment plus a Type I Analytical Grade DI System to provide you with ASTM reagent grade water and other ultra high purity lab water needs. We also offer a wide range of deionization cartridges that are compatible with systems such as Aries, Barnstead, Millipore and Siemens/US Filter that are available.

Dealkalizers

We provide anion resin dealkalizers with or without caustic feed for boiler water pretreatment. Systems can be duplex, triplex or quadplex depending upon flow capacity required. Turnkey engineering and water treatment/purification systems where dealkalizers, works with deionization, filtration, water softening, reverse osmosis, and ultraviolet instrumentation.

Ultraskids

Ultrapure skid-mounted systems eliminate costly servicing of deionized (DI) water bottles and are exempt from on-site hazardous waste regulations. Skid-mounted, prepiped, prewired small ultrapure water (UPW) systems for cleaning and manufacturing. Ultraskids are designed for the customer that wants “hands free” Ultrapure Water (UPW) production and minimal maintenance. These skids are custom designed to fit your needs, all equipment is skid mounted, prepiped and pretested at our facility. When the equipment arrives on-site all we need to get you up and running is: 1. Feedwater, 2. Power, 3. Piping/Distribution. Ultraskids minimize installation time and commissioning, on-going monitoring can be performed by your on-site personnel or we can monitor your system remotely using Telemetry Service for softeners, filters and deionization (PE DI). If an error occurs in any of these units an email is immediately sent to us so we can address it promptly, minimizing or eliminating downtime.
