CIVA is a comprehensive non-destructive testing (NDT) simulation software designed for a broad spectrum of inspection methodologies. CIVA facilitates simulations with a diversity of probes like conventional, phased-array, and electro-magnetic acoustic transducers (EMAT), compatible with various specimen geometries from CAD files. Users can define materials, including complex fiber or granular composites, to simulate how different structures react under inspection. The ultrasonic probes library features advanced 1D and 2D array configurations with options to compute delay laws for specimen-specific applications. CIVA employs synthetic focusing techniques like the Total Focusing Method for enhanced flaw detection and analysis. Its parametric and sensitivity analysis tools provide insights into NDT inspection impacts, enhanced by metamodel capabilities and Probability of Detection (POD) calculations.
