Model Fractionation - Supercritical Co2 Equipment

Supercritical CO2 fractionation allows extraction from liquid biomass into a counter-current fractionation column. This method is used either for the separation of molecules from a complex mixtures or for purification after supercritical CO2 extraction. As well as supercritical CO2 extraction, this green process has the advantage to precisely separate molecules of interest or target compounds to obtain different fractions of extract while maintaining their original properties and preserving sensitive compounds. The fractionation takes place in a counter-current column. CO2 is injected in an injector close to the bottom of the column, as the feed is injected in multiple points. Light extract is recovered at the top of the column and non-extracted part of the liquid (called raffinate) is recovered at the bottom.

Supercritical / Subcritical Water Equipment

Subcritical Water System

Our laboratory extraction equipment using supercritical CO2 as a solvent is also compatible with the use of subcritical water.Maintained liquid despite a temperature above 100°C by an increase in its pressure, the water thus called subcritical sees its solvent properties modified. Weakly polar compounds thus become soluble in water.

Supercritical Water System

Supercritical Water Oxydation (SCOW), sometimes referred to as Hydrothermal Oxidation is a high-efficiency, thermal oxidation process capable of treating a wide variety of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. The reaction takes place at elevated temperature (above 374°C) and pressure (above 220.5 bar) above the critical point. SCOW is ideally suited for treating waste streams containing high concentrations of water and do not produce hazardous air pollutants and Nox. This process allows to optimize cycle time and efficiency (destruction up to 99.9%) and allows to work at lower temperatures compare to conventional thermic processes.

Supercritical Fluid Products - High Pressure CO2 Pump

High Pressure Pump 100G/Min

Like all piston pump, this pump is volumetric type pump. Our pump can be ordered either for uncompressible liquids or for compressible liquified gases like CO2. Electronic control includes software which manages motor speed frequency, function of CO2 pressure and density. Compressibility effects of CO2 are therefore taken into account, for a perfect control of flow-rate. A user-friendly configuration screen allows to choose the control mode and setpoint (flowrate control, pressure control or frequency control).

High Pressure Pump 150Kg/H

Like all piston pump, this pump is volumetric type pump. Our pumps are designed with 3 cooled head working either with uncompressible liquids or compressible liquified gases like CO2.
