Water Purification

Reverse Osmosis Systems

Exxro develops and builds reverse osmosis plants to process civil and industrial waters, which through the principle of inversion of water flow from a more concentrated to a less concentrated solution, is able to separate soluble salts and the organic molecules from water. The Exxro reverse osmosis plants are designed with flat membranes, based on specific customer requirements, to efficiently solve every purification requirement that involves all types of waste water. These plants are used to process leachate in landfills, desalinate sea water and the purify brackish water, as well as industrial waste water, in order to recycle the purified water in a zero-discharge circuit.

Industrial Water Purification with Nanofiltration

Exxro develops and builds nanofiltration plants with flat membrane modules to process industrial waters and in particular for sulfation from waste water. Exxro implants are designed to be installed inside specific insulated containers or on specific skids. Nanofiltration membranes remove organic and polyvalent ion molecules. The nanofiltration plants are used for the stabilisation of well or aqueduct waters by removing organic molecules, hardness and dissolved solid substances. Other applications are downstream of pre-processed waste water with chemical-physical plants or evaporators. The nanofiltration membranes can also be used for the filtration of aqueous solutions for the purpose of recovering process fluids by separating the waste substances.
